Cassie, yeah yeah, I know. Adam loves pop, his own stuff. He is the HBIC in his own world., true enough.
I would not argue that it should be any other way. But oh how I loved hearing Brian may's guitar behind and around those amazing vocals. Damn sexy that was. I am with you that this show should be brought to America. Just a few epic shows, that's all

Warning: Just my opinion. Based on my impressions of Adam's personality. YMMV I think that this gig with Queen was a challenge, an honor, and a thrill for Adam. I think he loved the collaboration. And loved playing to a quarter million people, of course. We know he loves the music of Queen. Having said that, I very much doubt Adam would do anything long term or committed as the frontman for Queen. An occasional guest artist, yes. The designated singer, no. First off, he loves and is committed to the music he has created on Trespassing. If he wanted to go the full rock route, he would have done so. He is doing the music he has chosen. Secondly, and more basically, Adam wants to be his own artist. And his own star. He walks a fine line with Queen: honoring Freddie while making the songs his own, respecting Brian and Roger and the way they have created THEIR music. He is not the boss in this situation. They may consult with Adam and seek his input, but they run the show. They are the directors and the producers. I think at this stage in Adam's life, that is too confining for him. We know he likes being HBIC. With the revolving band members and backing singers, it is clear that he does not see himself as head of a band, but as a solo artist. I think we can hope for additional Queenbert concerts. It was very successful, they had fun, and it can be a big money maker. I don't anticipate anything like a TOUR, though. Even if Adam were eager to do it, I don't think Brian and Roger would be interested in the grueling work of a tour. But, five or six shows around the US would be very nice! From your mouth to God's ears. Perfect scenario.

And on Cassie's epic, haha, post, I will refrain to listening to the entire show once again, and get some sleep.

I wonder why they didn't let more people from the barricaded side come into the main area.. there seemed to be plenty of room towards the back. :-/
