Wishing with you. Saw a Queen board person say similar. Would be great. Tho will settle for a Nile Rodgers guest slot. Which includes Queen trading a song or two from Trespassing for Adam agreeing to another 8 or 10 global arenas. Hey, fantasy life is limitless. And I saw some Queen board person say, oh, I thought they would do one or two of Lambert's songs. Though imagine the wailing and protests if Queen actually rocked wild and free on Kickin In. I think anything is possible. But since Adam won't tour for Trespassing until 2013, I could see him agreeing to do a few more concerts with Queen just to build awareness and expand his fanbase. And Brian and Roger look like they were having so much fun, I think a few more dates are possible. But can't see Queen performing Adam's music. I see it the way you see it, that these concerts with Queen can help to get Adam's name out there or to build awareness and expand his fanbase. But to play devil advocate here, Adam was so amazing on stage last night with Queen and a lot of people said that he is in his element. These concerts can also make some (if not a lot of) people even more convince that Adam should do or go the rock music route. Even the Q-fan who previously said that Adam couldn't sing rock said that the same thing Randy said to Adam, he's a rocker and this is what he should do... Definitely this concert make fans of Rocker Adam really happy. I'm very happy just coz Adam's singing with my fav rock band and more people around the world now can see that Adam is more than just a kid from reality show.

Lambert joined Queen stars Brian May and Roger Taylor and the Rocket Man to perform in the Euro 2012 fan zone in Kiev and donated their fees to local Aids research charities. Queen's former frontman Freddie Mercury died from the disease in 1991. Sir Elton took a moment during his set to urge fans to stand up to violence against homosexuals in the Ukraine, after the organisers of a planned gay pride march were beaten up in May (12). Lambert has been recruited by May and Taylor to front the new-look Queen for several dates this year (12).

For the more experienced Queen fans here...is SSOR an easily recognized song to the Queen cognoscenti? I didn't recognize it, and then it was followed by FBG in what seemed to be a different key than usual, and then by the original but not as well know version of WWRY. I'm just curious as to whether they were trying to shock any expectations that this was going to be a tribute band right off the bat or what...personally, I was expecting a more typical Queen song as the opener? Per Q-forum, when Queen was touring with PR, there're some songs (exp. KYA & DSMN) that they couldn't do because PR couldn't sing them (range wise??). Brian & Roger have waited for 20 years to be able to play all those songs that they've performed with Freddie ... no wonder we saw both of them looked so happy last night right?? Because IMO, they can feel the joy to play those songs again and Adam gives that opportunity to them.

I get that's where the money is, and all that. I'm fine. I've sought treatment and I'm okay. Really. But when you see him with rockers like Queen...sigh. There are so few singers that have the power and the range to stand up to rock music, let alone that swagger (TM Simon) and that balls-to-the-wall ability to own the stage. I can't think of anyone since Axl, and Adam is 1) not a total asshole and 2) a far more talented singer. Okay, back to reality... ETA: In other words, what Dadbert said.

Delurking long enough to say I've seen the whole EpicConcert! Who Wants to Live Forever and AOBTDust are two standouts, but BRhapsody was very moving because of a chill I felt at the end when they weren't showing Adam in cutting back and forth to the Freddie vids. At one point I could not tell if Adam or Freddie is singing; their voices blended so beautifully. Or maybe that was my imagination, envisioning that the spirit of Freddie was there with Adam! So amazing. Thrilled for Mayumi and you others seeing this live! :-)

Wish some closeup video would surface that shows Adam on his knees bowing to Brian during BoRap so we could get a gif. Yes, still feeling entitled and I want it all. "I Want It All! I Want It All! And I Want It Now!!" My favorite song from last night. (Yes, I am weird!) It is totally an Adam song and could be put on Trespassing right now and fit! Oh Yeah! Definitely a fave - I love that song, and I have no idea why - it just rocks ;D ETA: What I really wanted was Killer Queen
