I agree, maddie, RCA is riding this one out. It really makes no sense to invest more money into NCOE when it seems dead on HAC and is barely hanging on (if that) on CHR at this point.
This sounds bad, but they are probably going to have to start over this fall---that is, if they decide to continue pushing Trespassing. It will be really interesting to watch what RCA does.
I asked this in the main thread, but it might be more appropriate over here---why has RCA not tweeted anything about the Kiev Queen concert (or did I miss something?) The videos are absolutely amazing. Why would they not take advantage of this opportunity? I hope Adam and the label are on the same page with all of this---certainly RCA supports the mini-tour with Queen. I mean, I know the timing isn't great for Trespassing in the US.Can anybody shed some light on this?

RCA didn't tweet anything about the EMA's with Queen last year until fans started tweeting them. I don't get them. They seem to be doing very little for Adam in the US. Not just his label but his management in the US doesn't seem to be doing much. They didn't exactly get him a lot of high profile bookings the week of his album release. Don't even get me started on the IHeartRadio sessions never being posted on the Clear Channel radio sites.
I wish I still had the tweet but a music critic, not a really well-known one, tweeted that he was baffled that RCA was literally letting the album die and mentioned how it had dropped out of the BB Top 100 in just a few weeks. He tweeted that he didn't understand why RCA wasn't putting more muscle behind it.
Kinda seems like they're waiting to see how he does in the UK. Although I haven't been real impressed when they've put all their eggs into one basket before.
