maddie, I've thought this a few times also, but then I realized that Queen fans would probably love Trespassing, Shady, Kickin In, Chokehold, Broken Open, OOL, Underneath, Runnin, Take Back, and Nirvana! IMO, those songs all have a Rock edge.  Also, Queen music crosses so mnay genres, as does Adam's. But they both have the amazing vocals in common. The sad thing is, though, that all the albums sold at these London concerts will not count for the charts.  I did witness a lot of Queen fans after the show buying Adam's album and thought the same thing. Trespassing was quite a restrained and introspective album, especially compared to FYE. For some people it will be a far cry from the rock god they saw with Queen. I think very few songs on TP have a rock edge in a traditional sense, probably only Trespassing, the rest take it from more of a modern rock / emo kind of place. I do hope they liked it though, and either way, surely they can appreciate the voice :D Oh and it's a shame about Adam dropping in the UK a bit. Let's see how it does next week if the chart placements make any UK stations take a second look |

I'm so happy for Adam to have fulfilled one of his biggest dreams, and feel so privileged to have "witnessed" the epicness of Queen & Adam Lambert in concert, thanks to all our wonderful & generous Atopians and other Adam fans! Thank you!!
Now, it's back to Adam Lambert, the solo artist, and his music! I've got this thought in my head for a while now ever since Adam playing AZ State Fair news came out. Phoenix is the 6th largest city in the US and also a big radio Adam black-out since early Jan. The only song had ever been played here was WWFM, now with the upcoming State Fair, I'm thinking the radio is gonna pimp the fair and all the performing artists as well, generally. This is the opportunity to call in (or thru online) the stations to request them play Adam, to let them know he does have an audience here in this big desert! I know quite a few fellow Arizonians here on this board, maybe we can put our heads together to form some sort of "game plan", and I know there're lots of Adam fans out there that are not active on fan boards, if you're lurking right now please think about it too. The best stations to request are 98.6, 98.7 & 99.9.
