Muscovite youth getting their Queenbert on.
Seriously, I hope a lot of these kids are going to the concert tomorrow. They would love Adam.

Published on Jul 2, 2012 by sonya9587 Thanks for posting. I love hearing the Glambert! Glambert! Glambert! with a Russian accent. It reminds of the interview where Adam said he loved hearing people say his name and sing his song with their little broken accents (hmmm, broken English and how cute it is!

My favorite song from the concert is Radio Ga Ga and there is a fan video from Crusader777video which captures a different angle and you can see the wonderful Metropolis background and more of the crowd action. I love it! Roger Taylor wrote "Radio Gaga." In a long ago interview, if I remember correctly, when asked about the meaning of the song title, Roger explained that when his son, Rufus, was a baby, he liked to ride in the car and play the car radio, which he pronounced as "Radio ca-ca." Roger realized that caca might not be the best lyric, so he changed it to "Radio Gaga." What a treat it must be for Roger and Rufus to be sharing the stage now performing "their" song. Most of you guys probably know this, but before there was a Queen band with Freddie Mercury, Roger and Brian founded a band together called "Smile." These guys have been making music together for such a long time.

I agree with whoever said that Queen intentionally builds the intensity of the show by design. I suppose Adam was nervous in the beginning, but the lower energy seemed to me to be Adam wanting to hang back just a bit to fit in with the band, rather than to come out with guns blazing, shouting "Look at me, look at me, hear me kill it!" That would have been disrespectful to Queen. Also, for me, the songs at the beginning were ones I was not familiar with, not having been a Queen fan. So, I didn't get into them as much. As the concert progressed, they played more music I recognized, and therefore enjoyed more. IMO I think so too now that he knows how it's all going to work, He walked out with Queen to an audience that didn't know him. They started right out with some really complicated stuff. One thing we do know about Adam is that he is very generous on stage -- he's part of the ensemble. It was only appropriate that the first few songs went as they did. Once he could feel the audience embracing him, he gave more of himself. I personally thought the first part was wonderful, I was awed by the pace of his singing and the phrasing. I was glad they made some balance adjustments. He used way more facial expressions during the second half -- performed more -- I think we may see more of that in the first few songs in the future. It's a very exciting time!

Yes! Now I am watching the other musicians and little details!! It is so amazing. Still can't believe it was their first show! I have gotten nothing done and have watched the whole concert at least 6 times. Now the fan videos have started showing up on YouTube and I'm stuck on those as well. My favorite song from the concert is Radio Ga Ga and there is a fan video from Crusader777video which captures a different angle and you can see the wonderful Metropolis background and more of the crowd action. I love it! Link to site: www.youtube.com/user/CRUSADER777VIDEO
