SIX!!
OMG I would LOVE a DVD. RL is kind of crazy busy and distracting lately and I have so little free time for stanning. Bad timing! I couldn't watch the live stream on Saturday and I have only been able to watch a few of the Kiev videos -- WWTLF, BR, and STL (Somebody to Love was EXCITING!). If there is any way for a lazy, time-challenged fan like me to obtain a DVD, I would be so happy to pay for it! I would love to be able to watch the whole show when things slow down a little for me. So count me in if anything like this is happening! PLEASE!
The crowds for the Kiev and Moscow shows are incredible. And Adam's confidence, which was evident at the Wilkes-Barre show, has blossomed. He belongs in front of crowds like this. It struck me while watching one of the vids that he was - even in Kiev - incredibly relaxed, and his energy exchange with the audience felt almost conspiratorial. It's just amazing to me that he can look out into a crowd of hundreds of thousands of people and interact as though he's talking to old friends. But it felt that way. Really amazing. The combination of his vocal talent and his incredible emotional intelligence is just mind-boggling, and it's what makes him a star.
May I completely piggyback post and say I'd buy a DVD/audio cd too? I know no one here would sell for profit, but I'd like to compensate for your time, energy, shipping costs, etc. Please pm me if you have a cd and a DVD dl! Thanks.
I'm too incoherent to be articulate about the Kiev and Moscow concerts except that I'm sleep deprived. I guess I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed some of the songs that I didn't even think about before, like Crazy Little Thing Called Love or I Want to Break Free.
There should totally be a Madison Square Garden or Staples Center or Red Rocks, one-off HBO special with Queenbert down the road.
Adam's eyes look beautiful, hair is stunning. Blonds outfit is not too flattering, weirdly. Where's that giant rock LOL. His leather belt in Moscow is bunching up his waist, because his waist is wider than his hips, so it looks like he's got a spare tire when I don't think he does? In any case, he looks great no matter what, but perhaps a cropped jacket over a tucked in shirt is not the best long/short balance. It cuts off one's torso twice.
OK, noticed in one of the Show Must Go On vids, are people sitting down in the Moscow Stadium? What?! Don't sit at the concert yikes. You can see they're sitting because some stand up at the end of the song.
I'm totally enjoying the musicianship of everyone. Am not normally a giant guitar/drums person, but could listen to Brian/Roger all day (not their singing as much) but their playing, definitely!
OK, back to more of no sleep. Happy Fourth everyone, and thanks to all those who generously bring over tweets, pics, links, recaps etc. It's much, much appreciated.
