That press conference was awesome. Really, after watching that, there is no way they are done after the UK shows. I just got a strong vibe that there will be more shows. Brian and Roger are into this big-time. Given that Brian May has an academic job, anymore concerts would probably have to be during his break time. I believe he is at Imperial College (right?) and their web site says the next year's term dates are: Autumn Term: Saturday 29 September to Friday 14 December 2012 Spring Term: Saturday 5 January to Friday 22 March 2013 Summer Term: Saturday 27 April to Friday 28 June 2013 And we know Adam is booked with Trespassing concerts: July 19-28 in US Aug 18-19 in Japan Oct 17 in US Between these 2 schedules, maybe a US Queen+Adam mini-tour could happen first 2 weeks of Aug (but that's rather too soon to get things in place) or sometime late Aug through late Sep or during Christmas break. Just wishing!

Have been "hiding out" away from the desert sun up north this week at our cabin (4hrs drive from Phoenix, 7000ft elevation ), but one drawback, wi-fi is very spotty. >:( Finally, went down to the Chamber of Commerce (aka, free wi-fi) this afternoon to catch up with y'all.
Regarding some hardcore Queen fans' views on Adam's voice, performance style, credibility, etc., while appreciating the honesty and perspective, I've got this for them, and it happens to be a tweet favored by Adam himself, "You can not imagine the immensity of the fuck I do not give." Paul Roger's voice and performance put me to sleep, and no disrespect to Freddie and his fans, I do like some of Queen's music but Freddie's voice does nothing for me! But, that just goes to show music is subjective!! I'm NOT a fanatic, however, I AM a hardcore Adam fan. All I care about is Adam, his music and his career. The Queen gig undoubtedly gives him a huge exposure and press coverage, albeit mostly in Europe, and it aligns well with his UK launch, but most of all, it fulfills one of his biggest dreams, IMO. While enjoying all the epicness, I must say that I'm also very much looking forward to his return to the US to "kick some ass"! 8-)
Now, off to do some chart updates in the numbers thread. Catch y'all later this week. Thanks for all the video goodies, although I'll have to wait till get back home this weekend to fully enjoy them.

Gavin DeGraw Wants to "Link Up" with Adam Lambert : wixx.com/news/articles/2012/jul/05/gavin-degraw-wants-to-link-up-with-adam-lambert-will-judge-online-talent-search/"Back in May, Adam Lambert tweeted that he loved Gavin DeGraw 's latest single, writing, "'Sweeter' is a jam! So good!" Gavin responded , "hey bro, thanks for the shout about 'SWEETER' love your singing!" Now, Gavin has invited Adam to collaborate with him.
In a tweet to Adam on Tuesday, Gavin wrote, "Love your song bro. Let's link up." Fans seemed to like the idea of the two working together; dozens retweeted Gavin's invitation, and one wrote, "This is a collab that must happen." So far no response from Adam, but he was in Moscow on Tuesday performing with Queen . On paper, it would probably be easy for Gavin and Adam to work together, considering they're both on the same record label.
Not long ago, Gavin told ABC News Radio that Adam's initial tweet to him was a thrill. "When I read that, I was like, 'Hey man, how cool are you, to actually reach out and give me a high five like that via Twitter?'" he said. "I thought it was just really big of him, you know, and it's really great when artists take that first step forward and share some compliments like that. It really means a lot." " Aww! AFL (ETA: She quietly asks) Who is Gavin DeGraw? [/IMG]
I don't know if anyone answered your question yet. But Gavin DeGraw is a singer-songwriter who has had some pretty decent hits. He was also on the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars. Not a good dancer but had heart, was joyous, and could laugh at himself. He has a great personality. Sort of like Adam's. He may be the only singer who has ever asked Adam to team up, although maybe to write a song instead of sing. I can't imagine asking to sing with Adam. It could be very humbling--but Gavin does not seem to have a problem with being humbled. This is the song Adam commented on.

[/IMG] Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.-Albert Einstein
Some people just can't get past that life goes on. I also left a comment and there are plenty of very positive ones as well.
True, but there is such a thing as being totally out of touch with reality (called insanity) and to deny that Freddie was gay is entering that realm...I really don't get it ??? ??? ??? :

Does anyone know the best address to write to Adam's management team? I am on a mission to figure out how to get the 1n10 youth into some kind of a meet and greet with Adam at the Arizona State Fair in October. It used to be great when we could communicate with Adam's mom on the fan site. :-) To all the wonderful people on this site that offered to gift some fair/concert tickets for the kids, I am working on this with the inspirational Micheal Wheatley at 1n10! Others can jump on board too once I get all the details for how many tickets we should reasonably gift. I will also call the Fairgrounds and then try to figure out what radio stations might be involved. Here is the 1n10 website onenten.org/ If you have not recently done so, look into the faces of these great young people - so resilient in the face of all the challenges they face - and know that the caring of the greater community is part of Adam and his fans' legacy. Remember that J.C. Penney cards are soo helpful - OUTdoors! Camp (which brings LGBTQ youth in from all over the U.S. Canada and Mexico and possibly beyond) is just around the corner. Being given the gift of Adam's beautiful music and the gift of his humanity, and all that is happening with and for Adam - it just intensifies that feeling to give back to others. Booking Info: Jeff Frasco, CAA 2000 Avenue Of The Stars | Los Angeles, CA 90067 Tel: (424) 288-2000 | Fax: (424) 288-2900 This info is from DMG's website. Maybe you could try calling the number? That would be for booking him for a gig. You know, like that private concert for 500 of your closest friends when one of us wins the LOTTO! For a M&G I think you would want to contact DMG: 947 north la cienega blvd | ste. g | los angeles ca 90069 | 310.854.3535 | info@directmanagement.com

It doesn't feel like POP to me. I like this vibe, thanks for sharing.

It is on the HAC charts and will probably cross over to Top 40. I think it is a perfect example, though, of how right now... there is no distinct Top 40 sound , IMO. So many unusual songs are out and making it! My soapbox for why "Shady" could make it! ;D
