OMG JazzHands - your avi! I guess I'm late in noticing it! HaHa
Now that we know MAP is a loop I shouldn't give an opinion. But I will. I don't really like it much. I'm glad there are no more than 3 songs about Sauli on the album because I think they are among the weakest songs. I know Nirvana & Broken English are loved here so I'm expecting some tomatoes. But that is JUST MY OPINION. Trespassing, Shady, Kickin In, Naked Love are much, much stronger (again imo). For ballads OOL & Underneath are way better. Preparing for tomatoes! I hasten to add that I don't dislike ANY of the songs. LOVE most & like the rest. Just not as much. I really love Broken English. I don't know why. I just do.

Hope I can say this clearly - the difference I see between these Queen concerts and say, Madonna or Katy Perry concerts (not dissing them, but the style that has developed, which I guess is what the customers want) is the former is a celebration of the music, and the latter is a celebration of the presenter. IMO. (sorry for the run-on sentence :-)) You said it perfectly. It fits so well with these quotes from Adam's Huffpo interview: Like Brian May said, Adam is a natural-born performer. He was born to do this. I think, in the beginning of his post-Idol career maybe Adam's biggest role model for "fame and fortune and everything that goes with it" was somebody like...Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga has to create and re-create and continually maintain an artifice, a persona. As tiresome as it may be for her, it's become even more tiresome for me to watch. In his "Trespassing" era, Adam is growing into the self-awareness of simply being Adam Lambert. He already has so much stage presence and a larger-than-life natural personality. He can more than hold his own sharing a stage with rock royalty while barefoot and wearing a tank top. These are the kinds of things I was so hoping for in his relationship with Brian and Roger--that it would reinforce Adam's confidence and security---knowing that just being Adam Lambert is everything he needs to be. Gimmicks like being carried onstage in an egg, or diving into a volcano, can be left to lesser talents that need the overcompensation. Mehitabel and jazzhands - Yes, to the above! Adam is such a unique talent and persona he doesn't need gimmickery - he just shines on his own just being Adam.

I really love Broken English. I don't know why. I just do. I've tried to love it because I know most fans do. I thought there must be something wrong with my musical taste. So I listened to it a lot. But it just doesn't hit that sweet spot with me. Again - I LIKE it. Just hasn't ripened into LOVE yet.

I don't care for BE either. So you're not alone I love the bridge. The rest is blah..... But I know that the song makes Adam "tingly" - the thought make me feel good about it

Two questions for the Finns on board.
The reason is that I only have Visa Debit card (and Diner's Club) which might be a problem.
1. Anyone from Turku or Tampere going to London and willing to buy me Trespassing with all the songs? I have a Finnish friend living now in England who probably could buy it and mail it to me and I could pay by bank transfer to her Finnish account. But I find it could be easier with a fellow fan - and a chance to meet, too.
2. If there is a stream from London I have the same problem paying it. Anyone who would want to try to buy it for me? It might not succeed, I know, but I promise to transfer the money beforehand on your account (I use Nordea), so you would not be at a loss anyway. Of course, I can try with Visa Debit (sometimes it works) but I am asking this beforehand because I don't want to leave it to the last minute (and if you have another bank the transfers won't show up right away).
Please PM me if you would be interested to help in either one of the above.

One of the reasons I was happy to see that the Trespassing era is more Adam and fewer visual extras - Gaga can do music without the trappings, but it will be hard to have her fans accept it now. That said, I do like the lighting effects in the Queen shows but they do not distract from the music - kind of compliment it.

You surely noticed but I found it to be a funny freudian slip when Adam sang in Don't Stop Me Now 'I want to make a supersonic man of you' once instead of 'supersonic woman' in Kiev. In Moscow it was all 'woman', wonder if 'man' appears again in London? ;D It's supposed to be supersonic man then supersonic woman on the repeat Thanks. Sorry, I did not check the original. I have never been a lyrics listener, I always concentrate more on the melody and music itself. So reapperance of 'man' is quite inevitable ETA Listened to the Moscow performance once again and I hear woman both times... That's why I thought it was a slip in Kiev but it turns out that the slip happened in Moscow.
