Some Queen fun (not related to Adam): I think a lot of you have watched the Queen documentary "Days of Our Lives" (if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it). I found an "extra" bit from the documentary on YouTube. In it, Roger and Brian are talking about playing "Death Scrabble" with Freddie. Be sure to watch to the end to hear Freddie's ad slogan for a fictitious new product. Funny! Link to full Queen documentary, if you haven't seen it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbMvkf6NJRY

OMG JazzHands - your avi! I guess I'm late in noticing it! HaHa
Now that we know MAP is a loop I shouldn't give an opinion. But I will. I don't really like it much. I'm glad there are no more than 3 songs about Sauli on the album because I think they are among the weakest songs. I know Nirvana & Broken English are loved here so I'm expecting some tomatoes. But that is JUST MY OPINION. Trespassing, Shady, Kickin In, Naked Love are much, much stronger (again imo). For ballads OOL & Underneath are way better. Preparing for tomatoes! I hasten to add that I don't dislike ANY of the songs. LOVE most & like the rest. Just not as much.

You surely noticed but I found it to be a funny freudian slip when Adam sang in Don't Stop Me Now 'I want to make a supersonic man of you' once instead of 'supersonic woman' in Kiev. In Moscow it was all 'woman', wonder if 'man' appears again in London? ;D

Speaking of...yesterday I gained a whole new empathy for diehard Queen fans: I saw one of those old Weight Watchers ads where JHud sings "Feelin' Good." She's warbling away (talk about a melisma addict) and I'm sitting there with my arms crossed and muttering, "THAT'S NOT HOW IT GOES." >:( This reminds me of a post I saw on Adam Without Pity during the Season 8 American Idol tour, when Adam was doing the Bowie medley. Someone wrote, "I'm watching David Bowie sing 'Fame' on VH1. He's singing it wrong."This is so funny. 'Cuz I never heard Fame before Adam sang it in Idol tour and I didn't care to check how it was originally sang by Bowie. I remember couple years ago, while listening to radio on car, I heard a familiar song but sound different. Took me a while to realize it's Fame, but not Adam's voice. That's when I realize how it was sang by Bowie. And of course I like Adam's version.

LOL - Man sounded perfectly right to me - is it supposed to be woman? Lord, even lyrics are adamized in my brain. :

Miachihu - thanks for your Sauli translation...at least someone's brains are still working lol. Mine are fried...it's Adams fault ;D LOL You're welcome! I'm not sure if my or Zinnia's brains are working, but we try... when we have time from Queenberting! ;D We're going to London next week so when/if there are new Tutkas or blogs, the translations may be delayed. Don't know if anyone's interested in them at the moment but maybe you want to check them out later when there's not so much going on, so we'll keep on doing them. Safe travels to you and Zinnia. Love your translations and look forward to them. Your efforts are much appreciated.
