I really love Broken English. I don't know why. I just do.  I really love Broken English as well. However the bridge, which just seems out of left field, breaks the mood and tone for me and is the only thing that keeps me from listening to it on every Trespassing play. ETA: Right after I wrote this I went back to continue reading the thread and found this ... I love the bridge. The rest is blah..... But I know that the song makes Adam "tingly" - the thought make me feel good about it See, Adam fans are just diverse in all the good ways. |

WTF happened at 2:54 in Map? That key change sounds so fake, like they copy and pasted it in the studio and pitch shifted it, then pasted in some more repeats pitch shifted. Is this leak legit? If so then that's a HORRENDOUS ending! I love the ending and see nothing wrong ,in fact I like the key change.. I have nothing against key changes, just that it's fake and sounds crap cause it's artificial and the whole fake full version is just loads of copy + pasting. Like I said this guy also runs vocal remove, changes the pitch slightly, on FYE tracks then uploads them as "early demo"s :dunno: Bit of an attention seeker... |

It really is interesting how differently we respond to music. I love MAP! Other favorites include Shady, TP, BE, Running and Nirvana. I just can't get into Chokehold and Pop that Lock. Me too - only not quite sure about MAP - and add NCOE and OOL to the list. I think whatever else Adam may ever sing, OOL will always be my favorite 'from the heart gut-wrenching' song. It hits me hard every time.  |

Map seems like a quiet and unusual song to me, very much in the same vein as Broken English and Nirvana. Both have been growers to me that took a while to warm up to and I expect Map to be the same way.
My favorites on the album are Shady, Kickin' In, Naked Love, and Underneath. I really like almost every song. There are only two songs I don't much care for -- NCOE and By the Rules.

I don't care for BE either. So you're not alone My favorite slow song on the album is Broken English (followed closely by Chokehold) - I can't really love Naked Love which a lot of people do, different strokes .... This must be the day of contrary opinions. I can't really love Naked Love either! In my mind, everytime I hear that sing along chorus, this is what it sounds like: DNW!! I like Broken English quite a lot myself. |

And I love Pop That Lock and Take Back...there really isn't a one I don't like ...I play Shady LOUD in the car so I can sing along. I have to say I change daily on the songs I repeat. |

OMG JazzHands - your avi!  I guess I'm late in noticing it! HaHa
Now that we know MAP is a loop I shouldn't give an opinion. But I will. I don't really like it much. I'm glad there are no more than 3 songs about Sauli on the album because I think they are among the weakest songs. I know Nirvana & Broken English are loved here so I'm expecting some tomatoes. But that is JUST MY OPINION. Trespassing, Shady, Kickin In, Naked Love are much, much stronger (again imo). For ballads OOL & Underneath are way better. Preparing for tomatoes!  I hasten to add that I don't dislike ANY of the songs. LOVE most & like the rest. Just not as much. I LOVE both BE and Nirvana! However, I would like join you in tomato-bath, looks like fun and MUST be good for the skin! |
