Sometimes the universe aligns in wonderful and unexpected ways. We have an example of the butterfly effect with Adam and Queen. Adam sang two songs at audition. What if AI had shown "I Want to Rock with You" instead of Bo Rap? From what I have read, Roger and Brian became aware of Adam on Idol because some friends told them about this kid singing Bo Rap on Idol and sounding good. If he sang IWTRWY perhaps Roger and Brian never tune into the show. If they don't hear Adam on Idol, they probably don't agree to appear on the finale show. After all, they were not promoting anything at the time. If they don't play the finale, they don't experience Adam's voice and presence in person. They don't experience the fit, the spark. Then, two and a half years later, when asked to perform at the EMAs in conjunction with getting the Icon award, they don't think of "Adam Lambert" as a front man. Certainly they would have known of him by that time, but, without having played together before, I doubt they would have made the leap to asking him to sing with them at something as big as the EMAs. If they don't perform with Adam on the EMAs and experience the strong joy, connection and thrill of Adam nailing their songs with such flair, they don't consider going back and performing live shows in big arenas one more time. We don't get Kiev and Moscow and the goodness coming up. I don't believe that this chain of events that started with "Mama" is completed yet. I believe there will be more shows, and they will bring at least some to the US. I believe we may get a professional concert DVD. I believe Brian, Roger and Adam may end up in a studio someplace and record together. Isn't this exciting?

Hope I can say this clearly - the difference I see between these Queen concerts and say, Madonna or Katy Perry concerts (not dissing them, but the style that has developed, which I guess is what the customers want) is the former is a celebration of the music, and the latter is a celebration of the presenter. IMO. (sorry for the run-on sentence :-)) Yes! And when Adam is performing his own material he leans in the celebration of music direction, too. Last summer I had visitors with kids 19 and 21 who love pop music, so I took them to a Rihanna concert. It was pretty good, lots of visual, but I didn't connect to it as much as I have to some concerts by other performers. At the time I thought that if I had to sum up the difference between the Rihanna concert and Adam's concerts I would say that the message from Rihanna seemed to be "look at me, look at me, I'm sexy-cool," while the message from Adam was more "I'm singing for you, I'm singing for you, sing along with me." Not sure that made any sense. Just saying that Adam leans more in that celebratory mode. And Queen, of course, are masters of the celebration thing! peace&love

It really is interesting how differently we respond to music. I love MAP! Other favorites include Shady, TP, BE, Running and Nirvana. I just can't get into Chokehold and Pop that Lock. And I love Pop That Lock and Take Back...there really isn't a one I don't like ...I play Shady LOUD in the car so I can sing along. I have to say I change daily on the songs I repeat. I guess there really is something for everyone on Trespassing. At least Adam doesn't have one or two great songs and the rest of the album is blah.. like some others in pop

check out adam at 2:04 www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJ6yDbY6yf0What totally cracks me up is that Adam is playing an un-miked tambourine in the middle of that HUGE Queen sound. In the gif we had earlier it didn't even look like he was playing it just turning it around in his hands. This is insanely entertaining to me! It really makes me laugh. haha, twitter is calling him a WGWT ;D LOL, the details we get into after rewatching several times! He actually does play it and it was placed on the step beforehand > so it was planned. Maybe he wanted something different to do when standing in the sidelines and then just didn't feel comfortable with it escaping to the right (leaving tambourine on the step and taking the mike with him)... Maybe London is inevitable to Brian, but I bet that if they were to perform somwhere else in the near future it would be Adam singing the song - either alone or together with Brian. To me it seems that he wants Adam to take part - and at least finish it with glamour (ie strong voice).

This will relate to Adam so stay with me.
Unbeknownst to me, my 80 year old mother decided that she wanted to read Fifty Shades of Grey because everyone and their uncle seemed to be reading it, so she ordered it up on her Kindle. I was talking to her one day and she just blurted out that she was half way through the book and the whole thing was just making her nervous and she did not want to read anymore much less buy the next two but she hated not knowing how it would end. So I volunteered to search the internet for a synopsis and the ending. Since everything is on the internet, I had no problem finding it and she was relieved that she would not need to buy anymore of the books.
How does this relate to Adam, well when I read the synopsis I realized that Chokehold would be the perfect song if the book were ever made into a movie. 8-)

I have a feeling too, that the concert DVD and some kind of recording/song writing is in the horizon ..... don't know how or for what (Adam #3 or just a single).

Not sure what you mean by that. It has nothing to do with their relationship, which I think is wonderful, it's to do with the actual songs. He didn't write Naked Love and it has a completely different sound than the ones I mentioned. There is just something about the sound of those songs (kind of middle-easternly) that I don't love. Just different musical tastes.
Chokehold is in that category for me too. I adore every other song on the album!
And his voice on BE is absolutely gorgeous. No complaints there! :D

I think the tambourine is on the steps because Roger uses it in the songs that he and Brian sing after WWTLF. Maybe Adam spied it and decided to play.
