Adam Lambert in front of the hotel (Poland, Wroclaw) 06.07.2012 .....it appears that he and Dr. May may have visited a haberdashery.

I've been to three of his concerts - so far. New Orleans was the first, then St. Pete and Hollywood. They were all amazing, but New Orleans was crazy. Did anyone else here go to that show? While waiting after the concert to see if he was going to come out and sign autographs (I went by myself), I start chatting with the chick next to me. We hit it off and ended up on Bourbon Street later that night. I will NEVER forget standing on the lower dance floor in Oz, turning around and seeing Adam standing about three feet from me! He had been upstairs, and I think they started playing one of his songs, and he came down to dance with the fans, but I gotta say, when I looked at that gorgeous hunk of a man standing there, all rational thought went out of my brain! Unfortunately, he didn't stay down on the first floor for long, but it was sweet to see him try to just hang with fans for a few minutes. Welcome Powermama! Just curious - do you mind telling us where you live? Is it near New Orleans? That will probably be the closest concert to me so I'm ready to boogie on down there & have an awesome time & check out Oz for the first time! If that's your territory, you can be the leader of the pack. ;D

gingerpf, I live in Mobile, which is about 2 hours from New Orleans. And I will move heaven and earth to be at his next concert there! Where are you?

I'll try to keep it relatively short! I've always watched AI so that's where it began. He had me from the second he walked through the door into the audition room. He just exuded this air of ease and confidence - completely comfortable with himself and everyone else in the room. So much of the auditions are full of histrionics and desperation, and he was such a breath of fresh air. And then he sang. Holy crap! I remember being pissed at Simon for cutting him off while he was singing BR. The love, respect and admiration just grew from there. One thing that really hit me during his AI run is the huge risk he took during Top 11 week. That rendition of Ring of Fire was so risky, and if it scared too many people, he would have missed the tour! But I love that he performed the song the way he wanted to and the let the chips fall where they may. Unfortunately, he didn't stay down on the first floor for long, but it was sweet to see him try to just hang with fans for a few minutes. Adam is one in a billion. So incredibly, uniquely talented, but beyond that, he is truly a great person. I couldn't be happier to see him performing with Queen, and I have so much love and respect for Brian and Roger for recognizing the immense talent of Adam and believing that he is a perfect fit for Queen. I'm so glad to be along for the Adam Lambert ride, and to have found you all to enjoy it with!! Great story...all the scenes flashing through my head as I was reading your post.... Now I see you dancing with Adam...

important information regarding the UK from Lady Rinehart: lol okay, i'm sure peeps are tired of these but we have another group stepping up to help out with donations/gifting in the uk for the single only. also, all 3 groups are worried about not having enough peeps to gift, so they're asking non-uk peeps to set up uk itunes accounts just in case. the first day is really important. anyway, more info below:
donate button: requestadamlambert.com/2012/07/06/uk-ncoe-sales-push-donate-beginning-now/
How Adam fans *OUTSIDE the UK* can truly help THIS WEEKEND! Step 1: Set up a UK iTunes account (see directions here: techjunkie.co.za/2009/10/15/create-a-uk-itunes-account-without-a-credit-card/; it works!) Step 2: If you are financially able, donate the cost of a download ($2 US) or more by simply following the DONATE button above. >>Be sure to include your UK itunes e-mail in the notes section at PayPal so the download will arrive to you<< Step 3: Once NCOE is available and you receive your gift, download ASAP to help drive the song up the iTunes chart on Sunday and Monday.
NOTE: If you want to help but don’t have funds, that’s OK! Do Step 1 and set up the UK iTunes account and then e-mail us at RequestAdam@aol.com. The goal is to have extra funds to have those gifted.
if you are in the uk and want to be gift, you can email them too :3

WHY THIS WHOLE UK THING IS IMPORTANT (also info from Lady Rinehard, but I've seen similar info from multiple sources):
"From what i understand, the capital official chart is based on itunes downloads only and capitalfm is currently the only radio company spinning in the uk, so ncoe's position on it on sunday and then on wednesday will impact how much they continue spinning. so times for buying start midnight on the 8th in the uk which is 7pm est and 4pm pst the 7th for ncoe. album is the next day same times, i believe."
Also, the position of the single on the chart will impact whether radio 1 stands up and starts paying attention. So important stuff. Donate $2 if you can (through paypal or credit card) and/or set up an account to be gifted the song.
