I did the UK donate thing. How long did you have to wait for your gift to appear? Did you also send them an email address for UK iTunes? If so, they've been gifting since midnite UK time. You could email them at RequestAdam@aol.com to find out if they somehow missed you? |

I totally do.not understand the nitpicking of EVERY note Adam sings? I personally just enjoy the show....the last three concerts have been beyond EPIC. Can't wait for the shows in London!! I am very sorry I mentioned anything about pitch. I totally agree these concerts have been beyond EPIC. It was never my intent to upset anyone or be critical of Adam. The thing about pitch is some people are more sensitive to variations than others. You know some people who cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Then, there are others who have what is called "perfect pitch." For these folks, hit any random key on the piano, and they can tell you what the note is. In fact, hit a drinking glass with a spoon, and they can tell you the note the glass is vibrating at. While it is possible with training to improve your ear for pitch (at least a bit), those sensitive to small variations of pitch cannot NOT hear it when it happens. It can be jarring. Imagine lounging on the beach, soaking in the sun, every muscle in your body at peace, when someone dumps a bucket of ice water on you. That's how it can feel to hear something suddenly off pitch. For me, it is especially jolting because Adam IS SO GOOD so much of the time. With a lesser singer, I don't experience a jolt because I am prepared for it, I am hearing bum notes frequently, so I haven't reached that place of relaxed nirvana that I do when listening to Adam. If you are already in a cold water bath, someone adding ice to it is not a huge shock to your system. From now on I will make a pact, however. I will not mention vocal or pitch problems when discussing Adam's performances on the daily or concert threads. If someone has a question about it, they can PM me or post it in the vocal masterclass thread. Will that work for everyone?  Cassie you rock and never think otherwise. I love lurking in VM thread even though I no earthly idea was you all are talking about most of the time, it is fascinating. I am eternally grateful that, while I can hear if someone is totally off key, slightly off notes here and there don't give me a cold water effect. I'm eternally impressed that Adam goes slightly off key here and there on notes that most people can't even begin to dream about singing. ;D ;D ;D (edit because commas are really good things) |

I agree, I'd do that (after checking your junk email), if you sent them your itunes email address close to midnight UK time, I think they sent out gifts to everyone who's itunes they had (though they can definitely use more itunes accounts to gift to last I heard). If you just did it recently, you might need to wait until UK morning. |

I didn't do it too long ago -- I'm pretty sure it's the middle of the night there. I'll check in the morning. If I don't see anything there, I'll send an email to that request Adam place. I thought the instructions were sorta clear but I faked a UK address and I already had Itunes dld on my pc so I'm worried it's going to screw something up there (I just got a big mess straightened out with that - computer share crap). I guess it's going to let me have two copies of NCOE. We'll see. |

Comment under Dragon Attack Vid: I love that Adam is getting bolder with each concert. This man is unabashed in performing. Most people would be intimidated, but not Adam Lambert. I hope Adam wears this jacket at FS.I hadn't even thought about him wearing it at Fantasy Springs, but guess we'll soon find out. :  What Trespassing song do you think he could use it with? Cuckoo? |

I had my regular U.S. iTunes account, but opened another UK iTunes account for the purposes of UK gifting, and when I downloaded the songs to my UK account, it didn't seem to affect the U.S. account. Even though I downloaded via UK iTunes, the songs did show up with all my other songs in the regular U.S. account which I was told is normal since they are now on my hard disk. |
