I was a little surprised about that too! :D And this one is far easier on my conscious to vote on. I actually like Van Halen, and he has influenced millions but Brian by a mile...

I like some Van Halen songs but I've never heard him do anything beyond tapping / random wankery and sped up blues riffs. I guess that kind of stuff was influential at the time but yawn...

Wow - Dr. May in the finals! Yay! Already cast my vote (only one allowed). Wonder if EVH would have beat Hendrix if he'd been paired against him? ETA - do we know when the poll closes? |

So far they've all been 2 day polls...I'm not sure when it closes. I think you get one vote per day. I think Hendrix would have beaten EVH but I don't know for certain. It was revolutionary at the time, but it didn't have the staying power that the melodic playing of Dr. May has. |

I've not been allowed to vote more than once on the previous entries, even if it was on separate days. Always told my vote had already been counted. I'll try again tomorrow, in case their system is sleeping...
