I live in the US. If I bought a gift card, I could purchase Trespassing & NOCE for myself. If I delete all files, could I repurchase? Could I also gift or does the gift card rules @ukitunes forbid that as USitunes does?

If I ruled the world, I would want Adam away from Idol forever. One of the things that has made me so so happy the last week or so was Adam being feted for his voice and amazing stagecraft, rather than lumped in with "Idols" who get pumped and dumped with ever-increasing rapidity. Adam is a real musician with something wonderful to say. Trespassing is a thrilling wave of creativity. I want Adam to stand out, radically and frequently, and to have a life creating art of endurance, individuality, and substance. Art of the kind he has been helping bring back to us this past week with Queen, tunes and experiences for the ages that liberate the human spirit. Yet … I do see that the conditions that created career paths for our favorite artists of yesterday don't exist anymore. The music business is less than ever a question about the quality of the music. Adam has been "arriving" for years but never seems to get there. It seems the channels are jammed. I also see that Adam needs a source of income independent from the direct returns from his music, and a way also to goose those returns. I am assuming that Idol would be a job that required very little of Adam’s time or emotional investment and would not require him to compromise his guts and principles. Maybe something like this would in its own weird way allow Adam to create music to his own criteria – music like Shady and Cuckoo and Underneath – and get it in front of people again. I would much rather see Adam with a cable show under his own control, where he could perform and bring forth guest performers and the like, but maybe this would be a path in that direction. One thing I do know is that he has to make a radical move … I guess part of me hates it and part of me thinks it would be fun to see Adam use something like Idol (again), the ultimate establishment show, as an end run around “The Man.” I guess we’ll see if there’s any substance to it or just a rumor. Well said, and I'm with you on your feelings. |

To the extent of my knowledge, here are the answers - anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong: Yes, you can purchase Trespassing and NCOE yourself with a gift card. No, you cannot repurchase even if you delete it, because iTunes has a record that you already bought it and will offer to give it to you for free. However, if you delete stuff, you can be GIFTED stuff (e.g. NCOE the single) as many times as you want. No, you cannot gift using a gift card, only with a real UK account. |

If FOX wants to beef up their ratings, they're gonna need a SUPER star up on that panel!
If they're gunning for an Idol alum, they'd be better off with Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson or JHud! Perez..Always the nice guy...all of the above can't hold a candle to Adam.Amazing he never covers Adam accept when he can put him down. I really can't stomach Hilton, he is a horrid ugly little man. |

WooHoo!! Adam released today! Only two copies left (Trespassing next to Gaga) and I had to get them both! I gave the copy I brought along for the trip to our Russian guide; now I have one to play and one to treasure.
Danced out of the store! It's playing as we pass "the sheep in the meadows, the cows in the corn". Just gotta remember to keep driving on the wrong side of the road while I rock out!
