If FOX wants to beef up their ratings, they're gonna need a SUPER star up on that panel!
If they're gunning for an Idol alum, they'd be better off with Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson or JHud! Perez..Always the nice guy...all of the above can't hold a candle to Adam.Amazing he never covers Adam accept when he can put him down. I really can't stomach Hilton, he is a horrid ugly little man. He really is. All you need to know about his feelings toward Adam is summed up in that interview PH does with Jake Shears. Jake says Adam is such a good kisser that he wanted to keep kissing him, even though he (Jake) had a boyfriend. PH has this look of all-consuming jealousy that he is unsuccessfully trying to hide. It always reminds me of Glenn Close in the scene in Dangerous Liaisons where John Malkovich is telling her about how luscious Michelle Pfeiffer is. Wish I had vid snips of both! Oh, and just because it's fun, my "dream team" on Idol would be Adam, Katy Perry, and Steven Tyler. Probably should have someone connected with urban music, but need someone who is incoherent for the lulz and don't know anyone with that description in that genre! Plus it would span old and new and the chemistry between KP and AL would be off the charts! (BTW, as you prolly know, she's the one filming the kissing scene.) |

I'm not sure of the total, but I know that after 60 ish gifts you get jailed for 1/2 hour or so and I have been locked out and need "Support" to let me back in, no idea why, guessing I have hit another limit. That can take 24 hours for them to reply to the email - frustrating when I am trying to spend money, not usually a problem I have  Can you tell me -- is there plenty of money to spend but not enough gifters to spend it?? That's what I heard money to spend and no place to spend it ,because of lack of UK gifters..YIPES.. there has to be an answer to this problem.. relatives of gifters??I guess you can only gift so many times and then you're in time out. Hugs to all our wonderful gifters you are doing a great job.IMHO Adam will get to that sweet spot #10 |

Wow, the hoops that need to be jumped thru to get this mega-talented, proven performer a chance. I am blown away by the fact that fans have to essentially throw money (good downloads) away to get an ultra-talented artist even a chance on radio. Blown away at the love and generosity of this fandom--but especially by the desperation and patheticness of the necessity of this grass roots campaign. Just the thought of Adam judging AI gives makes me uneasy. This show is dying. The market is overly saturated and Idol is not the cool one. People and media talk about it with disrespect for the old-fashion/irrelevent format/songs, the voting processes, the winners and the judges. Doesn't matter who is the best contestant, the voting will always be ruled by the rabid young girls, so much so it is becoming a joke. Sure he would be great and get lots of exposure but if Adam joins on he better not stay too long cause the ship is sinking. BUT. Just read Michael Slezak's article and he gives me pause about the AI gig. If Adam became a household personality then America would no doubt fall in love with him as a person--him, a gay man. This could really make a huge difference in the perceptions of millions. Sometimes I think that this whole thing is about more than just beautiful music. |

Idol is not dying, guys. It has gone from ratings of 22-29 million in its heyday, to now 15-20 million. It is still the highest rated show on TV and has the highest advertsising dollars (aside from specials, like Super Bowl.) There is just more competition now, that's all. Idol will be around for, I would say 3-5 more years at least.
If this is true and Adam does it, I would expect a one year contract, with an option for one more. IMO, no biggie, as far as his time, but huge as far as his exposure and planning an end around run of radio.
I want this so bad, though, that I am sure it will NOT happen! :-/
