Getting excited for tomorrow!!! I will be travelling so I won't be able to bring any news in the coming days. Leaving soon for studies and then afterwards right on my way to Brussels to meet Mireille! I really envy you! Have safe travels and a wonderful time. Brussel will be special, because all those peeps that were so sad because of the cancelled concert last year will be extra excited Have fun!

Please someone slap me to my senses! I'm looking for tickets to this GP.... I've been watching F1 since 1995 and it's about the only thing that could qualify as a passion before Adam. Waking up in the middle of the night watching the GP's that were not in Europe. I've never been to an F1 race though and am terrible due to going to one. Combining my two passions seems like a dream, but not one that would happen soon. Singapore is quite a trip though and it's not the cheapest one I bet! $598 for a three day combination ticket for the GP with stage on Saturday close to the performance area, Pit entry on Friday and good seats for Sunday's race. Need flight and hotel with that though..... Although I could combine that with a well deserved vacation in the area. Never been to Asia before although that is on my list of locations I would consider to go sometime. Anyone willing to go with me? My o my what crazy things we consider..... Dear Simone, unfortunately I can't go with you on that trip - BUT, if you really feel tempted to do it, if you REALLY want to be there and if you have the slightest chance to fulfill this dream. Then go and have the time of your life

As I wrote before, I am not the one for long recaps, because words are not actually my metier, but nonetheless I really LOVE and enjoy reading them. So thank you very much for your detailled, well written, lovely and interesting recaps from Cologne nic42 and skaschep! So just a short summary: I went to Cologne alone by train last Friday and arrived there at noon. And as soon as I left the train station I was making myself comfortable at a cafe directly located under the impressive Cologne cathedral. That's where I met Nicole (nic42). We hadn't met in person before, just chatted on twitter or Atop and there we were sitting, sipping our coffee in the sun and chatting away as if we've known each other for years! And btw Nicole is an absolute sweetheart and so much fun to talk to!!That's what I love most about our fandom, this connection or bond or whatever you would like to call it which Adam and his music create. After that I headed for the hotel to take a nap and then I started queueing at about 18.00 at the Rheinenergiestadion. I had a good ticket for FOS right so I didn't feel the need to go there sooner. I actually managed even to get front frow on the right side of the stage, but without a proper view of the Q. As the time went by you could feel the air thickening with moist, so you could tell that a thunderstorm was lying in the air. When the supporting act started I was kind of underwhelmed because it wasn't my kind of music and the sound was really bad in the beginning. And that was where the rain started punctually. And it wasn't just rain - it was RAIN!!! Big fat drops and gusts of wind. But it didn't take one bit away of the joy and excitement, when QAL finally started. I think you've all seen the videos and listened to this magic, so I won't say much about the concert itself, but that is was just plain joy and a magical time! I had goosebumps, I was teary-eyed, I laughed heartily, I danced, I sang - omg how much I SANG and I had the time of my life. After 2 hours my rainjacket finally gave in and said "Sorry, now I let all the rain through..." and everytime I lifted my hands for clapping and cheering torrents of cold water would flow down my spine and everywhere else. But everyone around me was experiencing the same thing and we all stood there dancing and singing and smiling at each other. When the concert ended I went to my hotel thinking what a wonderful experience this has been. The rain made the concert more raw, added much more of a childish kind of fun and made it more memorable - I sure won't forget Adam singing in the rain Mary-Poppins-style, Brians funny hat, Roger playing the drums with rain splashing around him. And I won't forget riding the S-Bahn (urban train) after the concert with other peeps covered in golden glitter, making the trains windows immediately foggy with the damp from our soaking wet clothes. As the others wrote before you could find glitter all over Cologne the next day which was so cool to see. Actually I managed after all those years to meet up finally with the warm-hearted and lovely Betty and her adorable husband Ralf on the following Saturday and together with the wizard of numbers Simone (skaschep, which I pronounced totally wrong beforehand ) we did some sightseeing in Cologne and chitchatted away before I left for the trainride home. What a wonderful, wonderful time I had! Life is good

Finally it's concert time! Tomorrow I'll start my trip to Cologne which is about 5 hours via train. And originally it was my turn to design the unofficial poster for tomorrows concert, but guess what?! My computer died today... oh my and there are still the pics of 3 weddings and one baptism on it. So this is quite a downer. BUT - I have a ticket for FOS right, so I think I will have a nice sight of the stage or the runway. Nic42 is FOS left so maybe we can wave at each other I haven't watched a lot of videos because I wanna see it "fresh" and without any expectations. Can't wait!!!! LIFE IS SO GOOD!
