Yes, for sure it showcases the beauty and subtle nuances of his unique voice as you so eloquently put it . How wonderful and brave of him to bypass the demands of the music industry that thinks of profits and not artistry, and this first song from the new album shows the power of following one’s inner truth. How wonderful it is that his partnership with Queen gives him the financial freedom to do this All us fans are in for a real treat as the rest of the world discovers this treasure hidden in plain sight
Right on! I 100% agree with you! It’s why we were smitten from the beginning: he has always dared to be true to himself!

I was thinking this especially when he's trying to promote the new song.. will the article be helpful or not in some way? It's good though that it has the video for Feel Something in the article.. Maybe it will move members of the gay community to step up and support Adam and other gay singers. It's a gay periodical ITA, Melliemom. Plus, to those who are familiar with Adam, I don’t think it’s a secret that his name isn’t necessarily as well-known as othets. This article points out his vast talents, so for those not familiar, it will hopefully intrigue them enough to check him out, and it’s a reminder for those who may be aware but not invested. Anything that may make someone stop and take a fresh listen seems like great PR to me. I don’t think it’s harmful to point out the truth. Of course, I’m a lifelong Cubs fan who has rooted for them through thick and thin, regardless of public opinion!

I played “Feel Something” for friends for whom I’ve been playing Adam’s music for years, and for the first time (after just hearing a few bars) immediately said they are going to buy it from ITunes! That’s awesome! I have a friend coming over later today, and I’m excited to play it for her, too. She bought some QAL tickets off of me a few years ago just for the fun of taking her hubby to Detroit for an adventure and wound up loving it and Adam’s voice. For some reason, though, she’s never connected to his individual work. Knowing her tastes, I think she’s going to love this one. Plus, she’s a counselor, so I think she will appreciate the heartfelt expression. Thanks for sharing! It’s always fun to hear when people are won over!! No matter what the taste in music, it’s difficult to deny his unique vocal talent. This song, more than most of his, I feel, showcases the beauty and subtle nuances of his gorgeous voice!!

IMHO Adam may gain some fans from Queen appearances, but not a remarkable amount..Seems to me some folks think he's two different people,so his solo career needs as much PR as his Queen shows..might be nice if Brian and Roger gave him a couple of fist bumps when his new music comes out.. more of a blending between the two Adam careers .. just saying.I read Adam wants to keep both careers separate, but why?? My only thoughts as to why he would want to keep a separate identity career-wise is so he can explore his individual artistic expression and so that if Queen+AL stopped touring for any reason, he would already have an established individual identity.

Sorry!! I messed up above somehow! Anyway, ITA Melliemom! I think that aside from when he was on Idol and discounting the “outrage” after the AMA’s, Adam has had more exposure in the last couple months than he has most of his career. I really feel that most of the world knows what he’s capable of, but that stars haven’t all necessarily aligned all of the time. Just now, his stars seem aligned and ducks in a row. I’m so excited for him!

IMHO Adam has decided to get off running on the gerbil wheel with radio... He doesn't need radio to have hits.. look at Feel Something.. Streaming ,YouTube,etc.. can get him lots of attention.. Plus I think his new mangagement has done wonders for getting Adam exposure in the United States.. I was amazed that my fondest hope has been realized.I believe Adam has been on TV every week for a month .. Adam knows what he wants, he has been put through the ringer with a couple of record companies, why would he go back to feeling depressed and hopeless. I am thrilled to have him back and all I want for Adam is for him to find happiness and fulfillment in his life.

I’ve been a fan of Adam since day one on Idol (and am an occasional commenter but every-day lurker here), and, in my opinion, this is his best song yet!!! I’ve loved many of his songs, but this one grabbed me from the first note. His voice is right there, so raw, crystal clear and beautiful, and the lyrics so relatable by, I would imagine, pretty much every human at one point or other. Plus, it’s super easy to sing along with. As I said, I am a huge fan of his voice and have loved a lot of his music, but some of it has been a slower grow for me. This one feels special, and I can’t stop playing it!

And yes still love some David Cassidy. and I’ll throw extra Q - favorite movie? mine Philadelphia Story (original with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn) My all-time favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Really, I love just about anything with Audrey Hepburn. She's my forever celebrity girl crush.

I also had a big crush on David Cassidy! "CHERISH IS THE WORDS I USE TO DESCRIBE" was my go to teenage heartache song! I also had a crush on Bobby Sherman who started in the TV series "Here comes the Brides" and sang the show's theme song "Seattle". Checking Wikipedia, the show was on 1968-1970. Since The Partridge Family, with David Cassidy, was on TV 1970-1974, Bobby Sherman was my first celebrity crush and David Cassidy my second. I remember Bobby Sherman well! He was my sister's favorite and we shared a room, so our walls were papered with pictures of both David Cassidy and Bobby. My second album was The Partridge Family's Greatest Hits, so I had quite the eclectic early record collection, lol. Actually, not much has changed, lol!
