I actually thought the duet with Melissa was really fun. It brought to life Brian May's explanation of how live performance is raw and real because it is dangerous. That's how I saw this performance, along with, as someone else mentioned way earlier in a thread, his Queen performance with Lady GaGa. I think it is so entertaining and exciting to see two professionals, both talented and iconic in their own rights, find their way to synchronicity before a live audience. I love all of Adam's "perfect" performances, but these risky ones are uniquely and entertainingly exhilarating.

I think his social media usage is fine. He shares parts of his life. And the only obligation fans have is to stream the song when it comes out, buy his album. Go to his shows. End of the day. I have to agree with you! So many entertainers give their fans little feedback and many others who do actually do it via a hired PR person. Adam chit-chats with fans both in person and on twitter or through his goofy instagrams quite frequently. We know his parents, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, friends, friends of friends, friends with or without benefits (cuz we can only speculate on that one, thankfully, since it's romantic to think about but at the end of the day truly none of our business).... We know all of these things because he has let us be privy to those aspects of his life. The guy needs to be able to handle his occupation on this own, though, in my opinion. Sure, we all want original music, but the job he has been doing for the past five years with Queen has to be an absolute dream come true for him. I'm sure he is enjoying greater financial stability than he ever dreamed of, and he is hanging out with people he seems to now regard as family. I think he needs to be cut slack. He is living his life and lets us share in so much of it, but no matter what we would like for our own entertainment, it remains HIS LIFE. If we don't like the amount of attention we get as fans, we can bail out and attach to someone with more time for us.

Well she did say "We don't know yet". So to me at least that is saying Logistcially no roll out plan has been established yet. He is going to be on tour with Queen most of this year. So I Think common sense prevails here. Won't get the album very least end of the year, probably next year. That well be four years after his last studio cut. But that is the way it is. This is why I love Adam. He has always marched to his own drummer. Since he has been active in the entertainment industry since Idol and is a multi-multi millionaire, he has obviously done something right. I would always love to hear original music, but having him present in the industry any way we can get him is A-OK by me. What a success story he is! Also, as it seems Shoshanna is back on board with him, something must be up...?

It's so wonderful to see all of the love and appreciation being given to Adam on his birthday by his fans, many good friends, his record label and music-related organizations. But I do feel sad sometimes when organizations like the Grammys give so many achievement awards to so many artists and our Adam is not included in any way. I know that Adam's amazing talent is widely known but an award here or there or an announcement about a major part in a live musical (like JCS for instance) would certainly be appreciated as an acknowledgement of his talent. Right now, I am re-reading all of the wonderful reviews of QAL to remind myself that Adam's talent is truly recognized worldwide. I feel like, in the whole universe of people trying to "make it," very, very few do, and Adam is one lucky guy to not only have international recognition, but also to have literally multi-millions in the bank. I, too, want to see him get some of those big industry awards, but, to me, he has been awarded the biggest gift of all: a seemingly happy life and, if he is as smart as I think he is, financial compensation to last a lifetime. Even if he doesn't get JCS, he has been successful beyond the majority of the world's wildest dreams. I am one proud fan!

I just wanted to thank you, Betty, for my scrumptious looking birthday cake in yesterday's thread. I always enjoy checking out the cakes you "make" for us, and, I must say, you chose 100% correctly for me. My favorite cake is cheesecake, and, in fact, my family took me to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate this year. Again, thank you. It's such a special part of this fan site -- part of what makes it a warm and friendly escape and reliable source of entertainment.

I am so sorry, Momtomany, for what you are going through. As someone whose house burned six years ago this upcoming November 17 (internally -- the brick exterior remained but most of its contents were destroyed all the way down past the studs), I can empathize with your loss. I am so glad for you, though, that what matters most--the safety of those you love--was secured with your prudent exodus from danger. It may not seem possible now with the loss so fresh, but the love of your family and friends will make the rebuilding of this part of your life speedier than you can imagine.

Well if Adam is selected to be judge. Get used to it lol. And on the other accord. If he isint. Backlash imminent. I am kinda over Qal. I mean don't get me wrong I well track their tour. Watching vids etc. But his whole year is Queen. I don't know I can't remember the last time his solo career took precedence. But I do agree we'll prob get a single around August. Queen gets in the way of a earlier release. Yeah yeah I know money!!! :D. Album February.. I love QAL. I think Adam has made a good name for himself, but I believe his continuing affiliation with Brian and Roger have a lot to do with his overall success. It buys him cred that releasing a few pop singles of varying popularity never could. So many pop artists who don't absolutely smash with their songs disappear into obscurity; Adam's tandem roles in the music world (and, I believe, particularly his side-by-side job singing iconic songs with an iconic band) ensure that his name stays relevant and that he has the funding necessary to be his own creative self on his own stuff.

Sigh....little did they know ...and poor Kris looked so out of his element lol I was in Adam's corner from the first note of his Idol audition, but I actually thought Kris did pretty well on this. Adam, of course, did better, being that it was right down his pipeline alley, and I totally loved how Brian kept glancing adoringly at him throughout his parts of the song!

While I agree with the fucking mess sentiment about HeWhoCannot amed, that quote set is a bit of a fucking mess too. Ramble on Adam. 😂 How do you know if that was quoted in order. If I've learned one thing in the past 8 years, of following Adam's press, it is unless I hear him say it himself, an article probably is not 100% correct. The first two paragraphs made pretty good sense; the third was a tad jumbled. I think the reporter fell behind in his/her note taking! Anyway, I love that Adam has a strong voice. That's something that I've always respected about him. I happen to agree with his political sentiments, but even in cases where I didn't agree or wasn't educated enough to form a legitimate opinion, I've respected him for his fortitude.
