Cheers Aloha you are indeed living in Paradise !!!!...Hawaii now seventh state to legalize civil unions[/color] Less than a year after seeing the push for civil unions vetoed, gay rights advocates cheered as Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed into law a bill legalizing civil unions and making Hawaii the seventh state to grant such privileges to same-sex couples.
Abercrombie signed the legislation at a ceremony today at historic Washington Place.
"E Komo Mai: It means all are welcome," Abercrombie said in remarks before signing the bill into law. "This signing today of this measure says to all of the world that they are welcome. That everyone is a brother or sister here in paradise."

This is a good summary. Brian is right. Adam's fans will not vote for James. The voice comparison is laughable! And the charisma, stage presence and personalities are miles apart! ...but are there still Adam Lambert fans watching that show ? 8-) Ahh...I watch the show when I can... well .. just the opening credits.... I love love watching Adam in that opening Idol Marquee... my 13 year old screams her head off ... but after that we have no idea what is going on with the show... most scamper to other parts of the house and....the TV eventually gets turned off... Maybe it will be good for Adam to be mentioned in Am Idol commentaries and write ups... maybe someone who has not gotten around to buying FYE will be spurred to doing so... and hopefully FYE will reach the million mark in the US before Adam II is released... As to that kid on the show... good luck to him in finding his voice and in creating his own solid fan base....both tasks are daunting....

How is everyone ? It looks like the Adamtopia family is growing, and growing, and growing… I am fascinated by how fascinated everyone is by just the tweets… It is indeed very hard to erode this fascination in all things Adam Lambert. Not only does he have a visceral appeal with his fluid vocals and his Patrician beauty, unique in its being able to harness both the manly and womanly allure… but he also has verbal acumen that allows us to enjoy his spontaneous bursts of eloquence… all these amazing qualities, residing in such childlike demeanor … you cannot help but wish some of it will rub off on you…. And … after saying all those words, let me just quote my newly minted 13 year old…Who has loved Adam since she was 11.....
“I really , really, really , love Adam because he is not yucky , and sleazy… he is gay? That is great that means he will smell good all the time…” Ahhh the unquestionable wisdom of kids….

This is an excerpt from an article from 2009 which I unearthed, while I was organizing documentation for a merger. Who would have thought Adam Lambert would crop up in the middle of such trying work.... What Ann Powers wrote is very interesting... and makes you anticipate Adam Album II with such unbridled enthusiasm... HOME / THE MUSIC CLUB : NEW ALBUMS DISSECTED OVER E-MAIL. The Music Club THE MUSIC CLUB: ENTRIES The Year in Musical Sex From: Ann PowersPosted Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at 4:37 PM ET " Talk about transitional. As the battle over gay marriage kept raging in states across the country, that family show American Idol somehow made room for the black-haired boy who made me happiest about pop this year: Adam Lambert, a singer gifted enough (and a personality sweet and natural enough) to earn the adoration of much of Middle America, even if he couldn't wrest the top prize from his muscle-bound youth-minister pal Kris Allen. Some criticized Lambert for not confirming his homosexuality until after the Idol season ended; many found fault with his debut album, which like nearly every Idol debut is a patched-together affair that doesn't indicate what will happen the next time Glambert brings that voice into the studio. Me, I'm staying loyal, not only because I think Lambert ably embodies the comfortably fluid sexuality of today's healthiest kids, but because of that voice, a force for change in itself, its androgynous beauty offering new possibilities for rock and dance music, and whatever else he's going to try next. " -------------- The only thing I contest in the above is that Fluid Sexuality does not belong only to kids... and that's the reason why a lot of Adam fans are ... well.... kids at heart .... . I am working on special code that prohibits anyone posting a picture of Adam is aqua board shorts or the Idols Live bedazzled vest of ugliness. I have not perfected it but..... Pray tell me if this is the much "Beloved" vest... so I will not make the mistake of requesting everyone to chip in, when this is re- auctioned -so we can give this to you as a huge Thank you for this lovely home in Adamtopia.... I think this vest is of great historical " value" in the history of all things Adam... ( He, he sorry to spook you with the photo).... B[y the way , my 13 year old just announced that Adam was born on the same year as Finn ( Finn of Glee) .... so they are of same age ? So why was Adam considered too old for Glee ?

Even though Joan Rivers bugs the hell out of me I'm posting this again because I am addicted to Kelly Osbourne's statement: "When he hit the carpet, it was, like, Chinese whispers went down and, 'Adam Lambert looks so hot. Adam Lambert looks sooo hot.' And he walked past me and I went, wow. You really DO look hot tonight. He-- he owned it." Just the thought of the excitement level shooting up when Adam "hits the carpet"... the awed and admiring whispers... the onlookers and stars and media all fluttery and paying homage to Adam's undeniable charisma and power--- it gives me goosebumps. Like I said, I am addicted. I can't get enough of the adoration-- of HIM. Oh and, what the hell are Chinese whispers? Oh yeah Adam may have lost the Grammy but he won a lot of attention..... I think many will remember how great he looked, rather than remember who actually won what.... And chinese whispers ... well I usually use it as an exercise in Team Building .... here is an illustration below. Amusing how Kelly noticed the relay of whispered comments on how great Adam looks and wondered if that was really true, until, lo and behold... she saw him ....

Lady Gaga is an artist. Some will love her work , others will even despise it. She does not need to apologize. And I am glad that Adam is defending her. And he remains a gentleman and a diplomat. I respect him more for that. Personally, I loved Gaga because of her music. Her recent ones, Alejandro and this current controversy... makes me feel like she is running out of ideas... and she has to borrow from someone's closet ... which unfortunately looks too much like Madonna's. I am starting to tire of her antics, because the music is not fun anymore. The beat has turned ordinary for me. So the hoopla falls flat. Well, since we are talking about Gaga, because Adam was, something interesting happened to me last night. My son came over late last night and I was talking about the song with him, and apparently the guy who wrote on the song with Gaga is a Swedish singer named Jeppe that my son featured on his first single, and my son knows him fairly well. I played him the Cheeks video. The guy may not be original, but my son was saying he will now be rich. I guess he also worked with her on a couple of other tracks. I am interested to see what the rest of the CD is like. Your son's right... all this talk will just favor Gaga and her album sales.... she has, what ? more than 6million followers on twitter ? a lot of her fans may have been reminded of Madonna only via Glee... so this wont be a great deal to them...

Adam is Happy, this fan is Happy...Exquisite Music will be created.... Gahhh!!! I LOVE that movie! " There must be something between us, even if it's only an ocean. " "Interviewer: I'm sure you had some wonderful experiences in Europe.Nickie Ferrante: Yes. Interviewer: Would you care to expand on that statement? Nickie Ferrante: No.
It fits, no? Ahh Jamie ... Yes... your quotes are painfully beautiful and true... Some experiences are too exquisite that words would only take away its luster...
