This should be added to favorite posts. So it’s pretty much everything but the nose you stan. I was going to say lust after considering your first choices, but I’ll be nice and give you the benefit of the doubt that your thoughts are pure (not GOD FORBID, motherly.) My thoughts aren't motherly. I am just one of those people who think the male body is beautiful. When I first got married (hundreds of years ago) I made by husband stop beside the side of the road and we bought a huge portrait for our living room. It was painting on velvet of a naked female and male with beautiful bodies embracing. Looking back I bet I was the laugh of the neighborhood. But there was something so tender and beautiful about those bodies and the way they were holding each other. The picture is long gone but that picture is still in my mind, and I will never forget it or the first years of my marriage. I have never understood my obsession and feelings regarding Adam, but I have some of those same thoughts about Adam. There is something tender and beautiful about him, and that includes his ass, his armpits, and his glambulge. I would love to see him naked. I don't particularly feel lust - I feel like I am beholding something beautiful, like holding a newborn baby or watching a particularly beautiful sunset. It is a feeling in my chest where my heart is. Don't know what you would call that. irish1139 - Love your comment - I would love to see him naked. I don't particularly feel lust - I feel like I am beholding something beautiful, like holding a newborn baby or watching a particularly beautiful sunset. It is a feeling in my chest where my heart is. I feel the same way!

It was captioned by someone in twitter (brought here by Lulu2365): As for what was happening - I remember seeing it during the show, and the context wasn't clear. It's at 1:55 of this video. Not sure if it was actually shown on the show. Oh darn, guess I will have to watch again! ;D Love this in that vid - He knows the music aspect and the fashion aspect - and he does it so well for himself..... he had the ideal POV for that challenge! YAY! for that comment from Anya! His STARPOWER recognized yet again!

So from the photo that Rico posted I guess we were all wrong he wasn't at the airport haha! He probably was at the studio waiting for Rico to finish the song. That's why I told you that I saw Adam at one point in the middle of the twitter party switching from i-phone to web twitter. He was probably sitting at the studio. But again all that is just a guess. ;D Loving the photo that Rico posted. He looked soooo relaxed and beautiful!!! :D Regarding the Rico/Adam photo - I think Adam is looking kinda shy but, cute as always! He's been so tight-lipped about A2! I love that others working with him AREN'T!!! YAY!! I love the fact that they LOVE HIM!! Industry Great music peeps BERTING over Adam is just the best possible situation for him! ;D (us too )

OMG so much to flail about today I don't even know where to start! I've berted so hard it hurts but it's a good pain, ya know? ;D Just a thought about the whole gay/post-gay discussion. I didn't see it brought up but it makes me think of feminism/post-feminism and I think there are many good parallels to be found. Post-feminists consider themselves to have moved beyond stereotypical gender roles and simply want to BE. They don't want to be forever battling with men but rather simply co-exist on an equal level. They don't always seem to express appreciation for the tough fights that their predecessors have fought, which pisses off the feminists of that era. Anyway, I do think Adam is post-gay and I like that he identifies with that term. I also think it's all contextual, which the UD does imply. It's a priviledge to be post-gay in a setting where there are many others who are similarly evolved. Post-gay is possible in Weho, for example, and other liberal enclaves. It's not so possible in more conservative parts of the U.S. And completely impossible in a places in the world where homosexuality is crime, I'd think. I'd really like to hear Adam say more about this. Hopefully a smart interviewer delves into this with him sometime this era. Watching Adam's evolution is a fascinating thing. Yes! Love what you've said!

I am not an anthropologist, but I am an interpreter and and interpreter educator by profession. I know that one of the characteristics of a culture or a sub-culture is its language. When interpreting, it is not enough to do a word for word substitution. The interpreter must understand how that word is used in that culture, what is its denotative and connotative meaning (the literal meaning and the emotional or implied meaning), and what is the context in which the word or phrase is used. One has to consider the environment in which the word is employed, the level of formality or intimacy, as well as the shared experience of the speakers. When we discuss Adam's use of certain terms like "post gay", "fag hag", "fruit fly" or "fish" we need to acknowledge that, unless we are intimately aware of the culture that employs these terms, we may misinterpret the message or the emotions and intent behind it. The dictionary can only take us so far in our understanding, and can sometimes be more harmful than helpful. Placing Adam's use of terms in context.... as an interpreter I pull from my knowledge not only of the gay community (which is somewhat more extensive than "normal" but much less than complete) and from my knowledge of Adam as a person - again, certainly not complete, but more than just casual from AI. Adam has said repeatedly that he likes women, he thinks women are beautiful, and he has many women as dear friends. Adam has a great appreciation for his fans and for the diversity they span. Adam is also consciously and unconsciously positive in his outlook and his speech. This leads me to conclude that Adam's use of these terms is not pejorative. I trust what I know about Adam more than I trust Urban Dictionary. YMMV Thanks Cassie!
