Absolutely loved all those Glee episodes with Adam!
Deb5Anne, I got very behind at checking in with Adamtopia, and so this answer to your question about your low blood sodium level is very much delayed! Sorry to hear that your surgery had to be postponed. There are many causes of low blood sodium; some are as simple as drinking too much water, and others are more complicated. Some medications can lower your sodium level - these include diuretics (water pills for high blood pressure), some antidepressants, some pain meds. Adrenal gland insufficiency (Addison's disease) may lower sodium levels, and can also raise potassium levels. Heart, liver, kidney problems that cause you to retain fluid in the body can also be a cause. If your body is producing too much anti-diuretic hormone, that's another cause. Severe diarrhea or vomiting can also be a factor. Hopefully, your docs have figured this out, and your sodium level is more normal and you can have your surgery. Good luck!!
I am feeling very down about Adam's canceled Vegas shows, some of which were this weekend. Trying to think positive thoughts about live Adam and/or QAL concerts next year!

I imagine you all will get your Queen Online stuff within the next few days. I had ordered a BluRay and CD and a tshirt in one preorder and it arrived here in sticksville yesterday. Glad I got several BluRay + CD deals from Amazon....a whole lot quicker and much cheaper. I received my first order from Queen Online a few days ago - CD/DVD and CD/Blu-Ray combos. I ordered twice, because it appeared that the first order I made did not go through. Even called my credit card company, and they assured me the first charge had not/would not go through. However, more than a month after my first order, my credit card was finally charged, and by then I had made another order! Haven't received my second order yet. I know how hard it is to be patient! Won't order from Queen Online again after this snafu about my first order, and in addition, more expensive and longer shipping times. Was just worried about the availability of these items in the States - lesson learned!

Have a very Happy Birthday, Q3!!! You deserve so much praise for keeping Adamtopia such an extraordinary place for us. Thank you for all you do!! It truly is my lifeline. Without Adam and Adamtopia, I don't know how I would be able to cope with life during these dark times.
Very late to the party, but congrats to QAL for their Number One in the UK and Australia!! So exciting!! Still waiting for my DVD, Blu-Ray and CDs from the Queen store. Listening to the audio from iTunes - extraordinary, and can't wait for the visuals to go along with the sound.
Such a lovely duet!

What an exciting day! Love all the press about the live album. My second order from the queenonline store did go through after calling my credit card company, and my order has been "dispatched". Can't wait to watch the DVD and Blu-Ray! Plan to download the audio from iTunes (after wrestling with it, as usual). And such great news that there might be a second live album! This will help to get me through these dark days and the loss of seeing Adam live in Vegas this month. Not to mention the loss of seeing ones I've met before and meeting new Glamberts. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year, and we'll be able to have some live concerts!

In reference to yesterday's discussion about ordering from the Queen online store, I never received a cancellation notice from Queenonline, and my credit card had the charge for a bit in my pending list, and then poof! it just disappeared and was never charged. My credit card company never sent me a notice of a suspected fraudulent charge, and I wasn't monitoring my credit card purchases closely enough, so I didn't notice the lack of a charge to Digital Stores. Thanks to those alerting me to a problem with my order, as otherwise I wouldn't have known there was an issue. I called my credit card company, and they assured me that it had never been charged (even though the Queen store never told me it was cancelled), so I ordered again (and hoping somehow I won't be charged twice - I ordered both the CD/DVD and CD/BluRay). My credit card company wasn't willing to be on the phone with me while I reordered, unlike lucky NONOTME yesterday. They said it had to go into my pending list, and stay there for a few days before being authorized. They did take the amount of the purchase and the vendor info, and assured me it would go through this time - hopefully!! I have to say I'm not impressed with the Queen online store, as this is the first time I've used it.
On another note, MOMTOMANY, I'm so thrilled that your home survived!! I nearly lost my home to a wildfire in June here in southwest Colorado, so I know how frightening it is to go through that experience. And you lost a home already, so i can't even imagine the anguish of possibly losing your second home that you so lovingly rebuilt. Your lovely words always touch my heart.

That photo of Brian and Adam hugging just steals my heart every time I see it. It says it all, doesn't it? Love and respect and joy binding two men together. It's so good to hear Brian say that he is feeling better. The recover from heart surgery takes a long time and you really have to work at it. Sounds like he's doing all the right things. That photo is one of my favorites of Brian and Adam, and it also steals my heart when I see it. You said it so well, girldrummer! And those black and silver pants - wow, also one of my favorites. Yay for Brian doing better! He is a hard worker at anything he does, and I'm sure his tenacity is helping with his recovery. Also have to say to deb5anne - hope your wrist is doing better!

In reference to yesterday's posts concerning refunds for Vegas, I didn't have to contact either Ticketmaster or my credit card company. The credit just suddenly appeared on my credit card statement. I purchased all of my tickets in February. Hopefully those still waiting will receive them soon!
Concerning the Voice AU, hope that Adam can get the judging job - he is such a natural, and does such an amazing job as a mentor and judge. And the publicity would be great!

My refund came too! I think though all of us would have gladly gone to Vegas in October to see Adam in concert if we could. I received mine too - finally! How I will miss seeing Adam in Vegas, and having the opportunity to meet more wonderful Glamberts! I'm still in mourning. Hopefully it won't be forever before we can see our Adam in concert again. I made myself feel a little better today by pre-ordering the QAL CD, DVD and Blu-ray. Can't wait for those!!

We read many comments from those who have met Adam and say he is one of the nicest people in show business. Fans have numerous stories of how kind and sweet he is. I saw this article on the seven habits of charming people, and thought Adam fit the bill well. What do you think? psiloveyou.xyz/charming-5027bbf67a44A great article, Cassie! Very thought-provoking, and some advice I need to take to heart. Adam indeed does indeed practice these habits, and from what we know about him and what we hear from him, he is truly a charming man. My only meet-and-greet with him was so brief, but in that very short time he was indeed charming (even though I was so star-struck I can't remember much of it). He didn't seem bothered or distant considering all the people he had to take pictures with that day. As my DH noted when looking at my picture with him: "He took good care of you". I've been blind in my left eye since birth, and Adam was on my left, so I couldn't see him. He put his hand on my shoulder in a very caring way, and let me put my head on his right shoulder. A forever beautiful memory, and luckily I have the picture to prove to me that it really happened! Thank you, Q3. The political divide in our country is so disheartening, and I agree with you that Adamtopia should be our refuge during these tumultuous times. I know how those facing these horrible fires and being evacuated affects the way you can enjoy Adam and all the brightness and hope he brings to the world. For many days during my fire evacuation, and even some weeks afterward, I couldn't find much joy from Adam because I was so shell-shocked, but slowly (it's been a little over two months now), he once again became my beacon of light. May all those facing these fires be safe, and your homes preserved. I am one of the lucky ones who still has a home.

Hey, guys, just wanted to check in real quick...our town was evacuated Thursday night...we ended up going to my brother-in-law parents' house. They've graciously opened up their home to us. Our town is ok for now, but it'll probably be at least a couple of weeks before we're able to go back home, God willing. Hubby just set up my computer, so I'm checking in in case you guys missed me lol. I was following on my phone, but the internet up here is eating up my phone battery like crazy. Having dealt with a forest fire that nearly took my home mid-June here in SW Colorado, I know all about the angst of evacuating, and not knowing if your home will be safe. So happy to hear that you have a safe place to stay. My kitty and I were holed up in a motel during our evacuation, but it worked out OK. Now I'm cleaning ash from my house daily, but ever so thankful that I have a house to clean! Thinking positive thoughts for you and others in your town, and all that are dealing with these fires. It has been such a horrendous fire season here in the western states. Oh, SO excited about the QAL release!! I've been hoping for so long that they would release an album/DVD/Blu-ray of their live performances, so this is a dream coming true. It's definitely a bright light during these dark times, and we all need something like this to look forward to. And also, thanks always to Pi for keeping us all up to date - especially meaningful for someone like me who doesn't "do" social media.
