Wow, Adam never ceases to amaze me, time and time again. That is now my very favorite version of that Christmas classic. He sang it so tenderly, and how gorgeous he looked. Yes, Cassie, absolutely breathtaking! Only Adam can elicit so much emotion in me when he sings - he had me in tears once again.

Had the same dr I had there a couple of months ago. Making an appointment with him next week to hopefelly get to the bottom of it. Wrist is coming along- have 3 lovely scars! We'll get there- didnt have access to youtube for those 4 days. I think I was having withdrawal! happy @sopieb So sorry to hear this, deb. Thank goodness your brother was able to check on you, call an ambulance and get you to the hospital. Hopefully, they will be able to figure this out. Thinking of you! Keep us posted. Yes, very much looking forward to Adam on my TV Monday night! Hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a good day yesterday. Definitely different this year! I fear another viral surge after all that Thanksgiving travel and holiday get-togethers. DH and I enjoyed a quiet day together. My family members, who are spread out all over the country, stayed put, thank goodness. Happy day after turkey day!

Thank you thank you for the whole Angel Project show! The whole thing was very good. Adam was AMAZING, as usual. Lots of the commentary was about it. Love those fan messages, too. What a treat! Adam's Feel Something Foundation got a lot of mention, also. Great show, all round. Now, next Sunday's Disney special to look forward to! Isn't the Disney Singalong special on Monday evening the 30th? Can't wait to see Adam on my TV! I FINALLY received my second order of Live Around the World - DVD and CD and DVD and Blu-ray from the Queen store. So much hassle - first they didn't charge my credit card for over a month. I had checked with my credit card company and they said it wouldn't be charged, but it was after I placed a second order. Then, for my second order, they sent me two cassette tapes instead of what I ordered!! I e-mailed them, and now I finally received the right items yesterday. Probably won't use the Queen online store again!

"There I Said It" is one of my favorite Adam ballads, so thanks so much for posting that video! His ballads always hit me so hard, especially when I hear him singing them live. How I wish I could have heard him sing this live when I saw him in Denver during the TOH tour! How many times can I say it - what a voice! And the look that night in the video - stunning!

Simply loved the soundcheck and "Please Come Home For Christmas" videos! Thanks so much for posting those gems! Hard to believe Adam was singing that wonderful bluesy Christmas song nearly a year ago, when we could still enjoy his live performances. We had NO idea how a horrible virus was going to impact us in 2020. Also, I agree that the lyrics for "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" are so apropos for this particular holiday season. Can't wait to see and hear Adam sing it!!

Just saw Happy's post about the Edmund Fitzgerald, and Cassie's reply late yesterday. Thanks for posting that video, Happy! It's also my favorite Lightfoot song. What a tragedy. Small world, Cassie - I grew up in the Detroit area, so a fellow Michigander (as well as Deb5anne, not sure if we have any others). Left Michigan many decades ago, but the Great Lakes are still a part of my heritage. I absolutely loved Gordon Lightfoot, and saw him in concert many times. A beautiful musician and songwriter.
My Dad's first love was boating, and we had cabin cruisers and cruised all of the Great Lakes, except for Lake Superior. Took boat trips from Detroit to New York and another one to Montreal when I was a teenager. I would keep track of all the freighters that I saw, and I did see the Edmund Fitzgerald once when we were going through the Welland Canal between Lakes Erie and Ontario. Once we got caught in an awful storm on Lake Erie, and almost didn't make it safely to a harbor, so I know personally about how powerful Great Lakes storms can be. Lightfoot's song really hit me hard. At the Great Lakes museum near Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan they have a wonderful exhibit about the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald - extremely moving.
On an Adam note, wouldn't it be absolutely wonderful if he could sing at Biden's inauguration? Fingers crossed! His versions of the national anthem bring tears to my eyes every time I watch them.

Thanks folks! I'm so glad to get this over . Chiming in to wish you good luck with your surgery tomorrow. Glad your sodium level is at 130! Yes, drugs are wonderful things, but sometimes the side effects outweigh the benefits. Happy that Adam helped you through this medical ordeal - he's a gift to us in so many ways.

Yay, Deb, on your sodium levels!! Glad Adam was "there" with you. Hubby always used to tell me, when I was still working and had a crappy day, "you need to listen to some Adam videos". That man's voice is pure tonic for the soul. You bet! Adam's voice is pure tonic for the soul - I love that. Yes, indeed! Deb, thanks for the info about losartan hctz. Now it looks like they will have to monitor your potassium levels, as losartan by itself can raise potassium levels, while the hctz diuretic part can lower potassium. So the two together balance it out. But so glad your kidney doc was able to figure it out quickly and your sodium level is on the rise. Medicine and treatments can be so complicated - I'll always remember when they told us in vet school that "medicine is not an exact science" - so very true! Now I have a beef about the queenonline store. When my first order hadn't been charged for over a month, I made a second order. Well, the first order then went through, and both orders were "dispatched". I had ordered the CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray combos (twice!). First order arrived fine. Second order came last Friday, and it contained two cassette tapes instead of my two combos!! Sent an email to customer service requesting that they send me the right items!! We'll see where that goes. Anyone else had wrong things sent to them from the Queen store?

And for everyone I appreciate all the good wishes. I got out of the hospital late yesterday after 4 unplanned days. All good now we'll see if I can get this surgery done. The best moment was yesterday morning feeling sorry for myself while waiting for the results to come in from the latest blood test to see if I hit that elusive 125. I started Thursday am at 116 . Went up to 122 and 123 quickly then stagnated. Then I felt guilty because I know plenty of people in worse situations. My friend recovered from ovarian cancer 2 years ago now has a mass on her colon and she was up to date on testing. She picked me up at the hospital. We went to McDonald's her choice. She's a cheap date lol. I know low sodium can be quite dangerous Anyway I put Adam on my phone and just let it play. The nurse came for sugar test. She walked in said Adam my man! Made my day. 10 itewminutes later the nurse came in the with the results. As soon as she 125 we both started cheering! I think Adam brought me luck! Of course it took all day since it was Sunday dr wasn't working they had to call him. He okayed it he came in and did everything, came to see me etc. AND we're outta here! So glad it's over and once again thank you Adam for getting me through another ordeal! Sorry to hear about your hospital ordeal. Have the docs figured out the cause of your low sodium level? Yes, low sodium levels can be very dangerous. Love the story about your nurse saying "Adam my man"! Adam has also gotten me through some very difficult medical challenges, including when I fell in love with him (forever) on Idol when I was going through breast cancer diagnosis/treatment. He has also helped me through many other challenges in my life over the past almost 12 years. He has always been my beacon of light in good times and bad, and is helping me through these dark days of this pandemic. Hopefully you'll be able to have your surgery, and it will go well. Also sending positive thoughts for your friend.

animaldoc I keep seeing headlines about the Colorado forest fires. How are things where you live? I remember the fires have come close to you before. Thanks so much for asking! The largest fires which are raging right now in Colorado are in the northern/north central part of the state, and I live in the southwest corner of Colorado. So those huge fires are very distant from me, fortunately. Rocky Mountain National Park has been closed, as one of these fires is located at the western entrance to the Park. We do have a smaller fire burning about 60-75 miles from me, which is of course worrisome. It's crazy that we're having fires such as these in October - fire season is usually in June/July in Colorado. However, we've had extremely warm, dry and windy conditions all summer and fall, making our Colorado forests a tinderbox. Having nearly lost my home in June to a wildfire, I can certainly identify with the fear and uncertainty that those evacuees are facing, and many homes have been lost. Fortunately, much cooler weather and snow in the high country is coming in the next few days, which should help the firefighting efforts. Thanks again for your concern, Happy!
