Ahhhhh, Q!Always the voice of reason and a clear understanding of all this promo stuff. So glad you are here! thanks, chilling now.................... eta: I don't worry about fans burning out, I see Adam getting new fans with all these radio concerts he has done in the past couple of weeks. The die hards have been with him from the beginning, and will always be there for him. It was the core fan base that got Trespassing to #1, and we won't abandon him now. If anything, I think we will all work just a little harder to help get NCOE on the radio. The master has commanded "WERK" and werk we will. This is what I am doing: Some of you know I have a 22 year old son, and he has lots of friends, and I am posting NCOE on all of their facebook pages. That will get this song out to a lot of young people that he knows (he has 800 friends on FB) Of the 30 of his friends that I am friends with there, all those 30 friends also have their own groups of friends. I am also going to gift NCOE to some of them. Right now, I think the best thing we can do is continue the "grass roots" effort to spread this song (and the album) out to everyone we know, and get more people hearing it and liking it. It is a great song, and there is no reason it shouldn't be played and go straight up the charts. JMHO. Hi, mahailia - so love what you said about grass roots strategy. When I first realized Adam was "the person I was waiting for" to help me with my life's purpose (well, it is a long story), my strategic actions have been intertwined with my personal love and appreciation for Adam. I have Adam stuff going on in every frickin aspect of my life. (and I am a very over-committed person, so I have no choice other than to just integrate Adam into what I do) Have we ever started a list of strategies that might be used to more methodically spread the word? For example, with FYE. I was tweeting and even sent FYE CD to DJ's on rhythmic leaning stations. It did not produce any results that I can point to tangibly (though a few were very nice & said thanks for the CD) but I have a feeling that strategy might work now. I just learned about a friend of a friend that sends out weekly "new music" updates to his extensive email and facebook list. His distribution list looks to him for new music. I have a phone call scheduled with him next week. I will bake him a cake or something and believe me, he WILL be promoting Adam in his next newsletter. I asked the leader of Sister Soldier Project if fans could donate - and over 1000 CDs went to women soldiers around the world. The project is ending now due to end of wars (thank goodness), but how many women took that CD home and passed it on? 1n10 has received well over 1000 FYE and now Trespassing CDs from wonderful fans - now Texas group is being gifted the same. Which one of you will call your local youth group and see if this would be good project for them? and therefore a good twitter project for us? :-) Or let me know of a group, I will happily make the call. I obviously am not saying this for any acknowledgement, in fact most of you are a lot more creative and driven then me. But I am a big believer in every single thing that we do can makes a big difference. Actually, I am a quieter person who likes to "gently nudge" others to take action, in the Obama " lead from behind" kind of way. But, I am also very action oriented and my love for Adam has tripled many times over through seeing the joy others are getting from an unexpected Adam CD or seeing him in concert - such a wonderful added gift! And, this is a family project so it fits into the threads of our lives. Not taking "no" for an answer is one of my objectives when thinking of how to engage my "potential Adam communities". But different strategies for different people (and different timelines) - that is the key! Sorry for the long post - I cannot tell you how many times I write these and then erase. Guess today I am sending and then heading back to work. Love to all - you do sooo much for so many, hope you know! I read every word here and spread your wisdom near and far.

Also, can you please fill out their request page if you live anywhere near New England. Q3 has it on the front. Kiss 108fm is the 10th biggest station in the country. So need them to add it there. They did not add BTIKM. We need this one and Z100NY. NO NO NO NO -- PLEASE DO NOT PLAY THIS UNLESS YOU ARE LOCAL!! IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. LOCAL REQUESTS ONLY FROM KISS108!!!! LOCAL PLAYS ONLY!!! ********** This is not the 10th largest station in the US -- Boston is the 10th largest market in the US. In the last Arbitron Rating 8.6% of the radio listeners in metro Boston listen to KISS108FM. The Boston media market is 4,012,500 people. The #1 market New York is 15,573,500 people -- and because it is a much larger market, 14 NY stations have more listeners than KISS108 including two Top40 Stations -- Z100 and WKTU (which is almost as big as Z100). 8 stations in LA are larger. ETC. ETC. ********* If you want to help Adam -- local requests plus a few very important items on page one. Q3, just want to say that I really appreciate the link you post for the Adam Requests for the radio (you can click on Top 40 for example) - though Phoenix may be a lost cause, I methodically request locally everyday, and I also am sure to do the requests designated as important on page 1.

In honor of Adam Lambert, human being extraordinaire, I will take the suggestion of two Adamtopians and make a donation to charity water and send a JC Penney card to the 1n10 youth.
I love you, Adam!

I am heading back to my gifting list and sending more Trespassing today on iTunes. My daughters' friends (young women in their mid 20's) have all jumped on the 1n10 bandwagon with me, and they also love Adam. So, gifting each of them on iTunes. Creating debt for the right reasons....a time-honored tradition!
I have lots of strategies for engaging people to open up their hearts and minds to Adam. Here is one that was a lot of fun, and encouraged others to buy their own CD. I am always looking for ways to create community between my kids, their boyfriends & our extended families. When For Your Entertainment came out, I gifted many of them one of Adam's gems. This time, I sent everyone an email that I had created my own "contest", put their names in a hat, and pulled out one family members name to "win" Trespassing. Anyway, it was so much fun, elicited lots of funny comments, and at least half told me they were going to get their own Trespassing since I had "fixed" the contest.
I loved when Niles Rogers had the caption "Trust the Process" over his vids of Adam in the studio. This was similar to the mantra we had for many years in a change process I was responsible for related to diversity/inclusion..."trust the process, not the plan". Plant lots of "seeds", keep watering them, add some healthy tension, add a little fun, and trust the process.
I love Adam! I love my family, each of whom have made this last week so special for me with their Adam contributions in all forms. I love today. I love you guys too. Oh, did I mention I love Adam?

Just wanted to thank you all for your well wishes. It warms my heart, and I feel fortunate to be here, as it was so severe, I could have had a miacardial infarction ( heart attack) or stroke, possiby both). I went to the emergency room on Sunday with atrial fibrillation. Basically that is the atral valves are misqueing the ventricles and you have 4 valves doing their own thing, which is heart attack time. My heart rate was off the chart, and my blood pressure way up there too. So I was rushed and had everything hooked up and they were feeding me meds to bring it all down. They did not stop the fibrillation until Monday evening, 36 hours later. After many major tests, they determined that I have a heart flutter, that can easily be cured with cautaurizing a ring at the mitrol valve using a probe thru the the leg 99% cure rate. This is right side atrium as opposed to left side atrium. I caught a break. I still have several tests to be done this week as an outpatient, and 2 alternatives to consider to permanently fix my heart flutter. I feel fortunate to be on this forum this evening, as my mother had her first heart attack at age 53 and survived. I made it to 63, and my awareness saved me. I live to make it another day and listen to Adam music and will see his face next Sunday in DC, and the the UK trips. I feel fucking fortunate and loved. Thank you all !!!! Awareness - and acting on it - is a wonderful thing. Love and speedy recovery to you!

The media better not ruin his #1 by harping on "low sales" In other news, my Target is now completely sold-out of the deluxe version with about 7 standards left. Looks like they may have only gotten 10-12 of each in. Does anyone know, do they generally restock at store like these when they may not sell a whole ton? Some Target stores got 40-50 copies others lesser amounts -- stores with low selling music departments get 12 reg and 4 deluxe. Target restocks music once a week. The restocking is done based on a predictive model and sales are part of that model. -- And yes, the press will report on the low sales number for a #1. It is newsworthy. It is not a record, and will not be close. BUT in 2008 the lowest selling #1 album sold 390,000 units. Then the bottom fell out. music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart-watch/chart-watch-extra-what-a-turkey-the-25-worst-selling-1-albums.htmlYes, it will be reported. If Trespassing sells 80K (high side of estimate), it will be far below Adam's debut at 198K and that will also be reported. -- Anyway -- How can a press report ruin anything? #1 is #1. FYE is close to selling 2 million worldwide. Trespassing is selling all over the world. It will feed into a bigger tour for Adam. Tours are where the money is being made. I am reminded of one of my favorite expressions --- "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Eleanor Roosevelt The Adamtopia version of this should be... "No one can diminish your opinion of Adam's accomplishments and talent without your consent." And I am not giving mine. Why are fans so concerned about what a reporter thinks or what a random online poster thinks or what a DJ in another market thinks? I love Trespassing. The music will not be any better if it sells 70K or 100K. And eventually, more and more people will recognize that Adam is brilliant. -- Adam is tracking to a #1 album rejoice in it. Why think about a possible dark side of that? Today has been one of the best days in the 3+ years I have been following Adam. Not my opinion. It is based on facts: 1. Adam will be singing in f'ing Royal Albert Hall. 2. Trespassing will be #1 in sales by all the best evidence. 3. We have another new promo concert which means a future add for Adam. 4. Adam was a hit at the RS weekly lunch. 5. NCOE got 4 HAC adds today 6. Read #2 again. I am sure I have forgotten something because so much is happening but seriously -- this has been a good day. and hundred's of young people, many without a change of clothes, will be gifted Adam Lambert's beautiful music because of wonderful fans like those who "live" here :-)

Just want to say thank you and love to all for the tremendous generosity to the 1n10 youth (and the YFT and other youth who are being gifted). The Trespassing CDs are amazing of course, but also the retweets, posts and words of encouragement regarding the youth - all of these acts of kindness are beyond appreciated.
Not only is this outpouring of "Adam fan love" an amazing experience for the youth, but it really is a very touching experience for the staff. As with many non-profits, the staff works day and night, dedicated those they serve, and do so with little "material" thanks. I suggested the staff each be gifted a CD - knowing Adam's fans would agree. For FYE, the staff was so humble, and did not want to take any that might be better gifted to a youth.
I am a numbers freak, so trying not to overdo it on checking the HDD website today :-)
