Soooo...yesterday my TV died, and so I had to get a new one (of course). I was thinking of getting the same size, but of course the one that was 10" bigger was a great price and it came home with me. Now I am sitting here looking at my new 42" screen and thinking about how beautiful Adam is going to look....sigh. I'm shallow but happy!

The best story in my family (my sister would say) is when I made a halter dress and wore it on the plane to Hawaii-- <tries to hold a straight face> Bad story. Not laughing. Not laughing. <breaks down and giggles madly> Yeah, yeah...and imagine my poor teenage self walking around the airport with one arm glued to my side so that the dress wouldn't fall apart as we madly looked at shops for a safety pin....

Adam is looking great! I wonder if he is slowly morphing back to his original hair color--I think that's why he looks so young and fresh. The lighter hair always makes him look younger, I think!
Back in junior high in the 70's, we had to take mandatory home ec. as well--but because we lived in a "liberal" area, the boys and girls swapped classes for two weeks. We learned to change a tire and made a wooden breadboard (which my mom still uses!) and the boys learned to cook something and sew something simple. Then I continued to take sewing, although I hated it and never did well at it--which is funny considering that my mom is an excellent seamstress and my sister is a clothing designer who can throw anything at a sewing machine and make it look amazing. The best story in my family (my sister would say) is when I made a halter dress and wore it on the plane to Hawaii--and then the side seam started unraveling in the Honolulu airport.....and of course, no bra on underneath! My sister still thinks that's funny, although it took me a few years to live down the humiliation...

I'm Freddie -- but I would have been surprised to be anyone else since I am a singer and performer, too! When I was young, I had a crush on John Deacon but always resonated more with Freddie. HA!
I never posted my recap of the second concert I went to--probably because I literally got off the plane and went right to work... then I spent much of last week sleeping to catch up from my 48 hour adventure! It really is hard to put the entire experience into words, but the best word I can use to describe the whole experience is "joy".

RE: The news about Michael Johns -- so sad. Just a reminder that it's important to live every day because you never know when it will be your last. Sending thoughts and prayers to his wife and family...

Fast drive by post from Logan Airport --
As everyone knows by now, the Mohegan Sun concert last night was amazing! Adam was having a great time and watching him during KQ was really hilarious in person. He seems so comfortable with the group now--I can't even believe how much the whole show has grown since I saw them in Vancouver a month ago. Amazing! As you know, Adam was very thrusty last night, too...hmmmmm....lost my train of thought there for a moment! After the concert, the nice gay couple next to me said "now we know why you flew across the country for this concert--that was amazing!" I agree!
More later--I will post a full recap in the MS thread after I get home and collapse for a while.
