It is quite close to NYC. It's actually right next to Giants Stadium where the NY Giants and Jets play football So yeah it's QUITE close to NYC which is why I'm already looking to see if I can schedule that one in And my Seahawks won the Super Bowl! Sorry, nobody here cares about that I do Funny story -- I just spent a week just outside of Washington DC and when I walked up to the gate for my flight back to Seattle I felt so happy because the gate area was full of "my people" (a computer nerd in shorts and t-shirt, many other computer geeks, other NW types, at least two people in Seahawks t-shirts, etc.) lots of whom were drinking Starbucks coffee. It's the same way I feel at an Adam concert (see how I worked Adam in there?).

Okay folks -- I just went over to look at how many tickets are left for Vancouver and they now have an interactive map. They have just opened up tickets for the two rows in front of the thrust and some just to the side -- all excellent tickets! If you have the $$ for them, they are $395.00 each but sooooo close to the stage! Run fast!

Cassie -- What you said!
BTW, I would love to go to multiple concerts, but I am currently going to grad school and working full-time, so I am pretty lucky to be able to go to one concert (Vancouver). For those who are going to one concert or 10, we are all the most fortunate folks, right? (Now if someone wants to give me a ticket to Las Vegas and pay my airfare...)

Hoppers --
Thanks, sweetie! I hope everyone gets great tickets! All I wounded today was my dignity -- splat on the pavement.

Okay, so I am across the country from home (Seattle) at a week-long residency for my Master's Program at National Harbor, MD and have had the worst day--woke up late and missed the first session, found out bad news about bank account (no $$ for a day until my paycheck lands), tripped and fell, and now I have to write a special paper because I missed a session. So... I took a nap and then just thought I would check and see what tickets might be left for Vancouver. I found one in row 26 on the floor to the left of the stage (seat 9) and bought it with the emergency card!! Whoo-hoo -- perhaps buying tickets in the middle of the night is a good thing because this is less than halfway back on the floor in the first row of the second section (more leg room and no heads in front of me). Yay! Now off to bed to prepare for another long day... I feel much better now!

I've been a figure skating fan for over 30 years--I hadn't had a chance to go to the FS thread today.
