He looks pretty underwhelmed by whatever he's hearing / watching ... To me, he looks like he is analytically studying the performance, staging, etc. Like he is there as part of his job to see what works, what doesn't, what others are doing, how the audience is responding to it, etc. Not there to party, but there as a performer studying his craft. IMO. Cassie -- That's exactly what I thought--studying everything and filing it away for future reference. I'm the same way--ha! You never know when you're going to find inspiration, do you?

Happy Holidays to all and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! I'm on my way to my sister's house in the morning where we will be joined by our parents for the holiday. I am SO happy to have some time off to celebrate! Safe travels to one and all!

Holst -- I am so sorry to hear your news today. When I lost my beloved kitty Sasha a few years ago, it was also sudden and took awhile for it to sink in. I still miss him, but after a time the stories are the happy ones, not the sad ones. Blessings to you and your family right now--you will be in my thoughts.

Q3 -- Amazing, and that camel doesn't look fazed at all by the snow! I wouldn't be quite so calm.

World of Wonder produces lots of reality shows -- some of them include RuPaul's Drag Race and Million Dollar Listing. They have a web report and asked people who their favorite bloggers, instagrams and such were for this year's awards. They even gave an award to the "Hottest Audience Member" which I thought was hilarious! Here's a link to their website with photos from tonights event: worldofwonder.net/ They are very gay friendly and it looks like some of the former contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race performed tonight. *waves and wanders back to RL...*

Okay, I think Adam's red carpet suit is perfect for him -- Hippie Couture! A tie-dye suit is something only he would wear. I like it except for the shoes, which I think are too heavy. Okay, that's my two cents!

Cassie --
Brava! Before I got to the section where you wrote participation ribbon, I actually thought the same thing. Carrie is pretty, has a good voice, and she looks wholesome. On the other hand, she really doesn't do the part justice and doesn't have that "spark" the role needs. Maria needs to be feisty, and that's probably the last word I would use with Carrie. Just my opinion.
Stephen Moyer (male lead) is one of the stars of the show True Blood--I didn't even know he could sing.
I am glad that Adam is so picky with what he does--I would imagine he has been offered a number of things he has turned down. He has very good self-insight as a performer, and good instincts as well. I expect that when he does a musical for TV (or screen), he will own the role.

Hi Everyone -- I thought I would share an amazing experience I had yesterday!
A year or so ago, my cousin Mark and his partner of 27 years Joseph, told me they were thinking of getting married since it is now legal in WA State. I said I would love to do the wedding, but Joe said that he had a judge friend he wanted to ask, but I could sing. Fast forward to a couple of months ago--I get the wedding invitation (yay) and Mark asked me to call--it turns out they wanted to know if I could read something at the ceremony. Of course I said yes. Then last Tuesday, I got a somewhat panicked call from Mark asking if I might be able to officiate at the ceremony...and so yesterday I officiated (in my pastor guise) at their wedding. It was truly one of the happiest weddings I have ever been part of. When Mark and Joe entered the ballroom where the wedding was being held and started down the aisle, everyone not only stood--they cheered. It was fabulous. I got great compliments on the ceremony but the ones that meant the most were from the grooms, who told me they were happy it worked out the way it did and that the service was perfect. Our family is Scandinavian Lutheran and Joe's is Jewish, so I blended both traditions and Joe's brother-in-law even brought glasses for the grooms to break at the end of the ceremony. We were surrounded by over 100 friends, family and assorted folks--and Brewster, the grooms' dog, even walked down the aisle with his pet-sitter! I felt so honored to be part of this wedding, which was 28 years in the making. Mark and Joe are one of the strongest couples I know, and I know they will be together forever. They also are a living example of the power of love--as the joy that showed in both their faces just lit up the room. What a great day!

I have a long history with the Myers-Briggs, so I was interested in finding out what animal I am... It's so cool that I'm a dolphin -- I actually got to swim with some dolphins a few years ago, and it was really amazing! Look at them -- you just know that they're laughing . . .
