I just read an article that some here may find interesting--I found it fascinating. It talks about Justin Beiber as a vehicle to discuss how fame at a young age is basically trauma. It really reminded me of what Adam said about being happy he didn't become famous at a younger age because he probably couldn't have handled it well. Very thought provoking piece, and I really thought about Adam in relation to a quote from a famous actor the author used. Here's the quote: "I’ve sat in a public place interviewing a major movie star and watched him interrupted every three minutes by well-meaning folks — you and me — asking for an autograph, a selfie, recognition. In each and every instance he was unfailingly gracious, and when I sympathized, he said, “It’s fine. But imagine this happening every three minutes for the rest of your life.” " Link here: www.bostonglobe.com/arts/music/2016/05/12/note-justin-bieber-fame-makes-you-miserable-just-quit/DFeXELX1XGuUDUsoLrVNEI/story.html?p1=Article_Recommended_ReadMore_Pos1What does everyone here think? It would be interesting to hear some other opinions (while we wait for more beautiful Adam pictures to arrive from the LGBT Awards!).

I believe Soho House is where Adam and the guys from Queen have stayed in London for some time--it must be nice to be in a place where Adam doesn't have to be on "fan alert" all the time, and he can relax in the space with friends and colleagues. I remember that Rufus posted a photo from the pool (rooftop) a couple of years ago. Looks like a nice place--it's great what connections with Brian and Roger can do!

"Sweaty, corny, horny, songs from the heart. Of course, he was great."
Magneticresonance -- what a great description of Adam, his songs and the concert as a whole! Thanks for posting -- and thanks to everyone for the great recaps! I can't wait for my show in Wichita (flying in from Seattle for the show!). Woot!

I'm sure I will get over it. But, to be honest, I was so disappointed/mad that all my favorites except Lucy were cut, that I turned off the stream and walked away. It is silly to be so invested in a concert, but it's like they cut the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah or the chorus from Beethoven's 9th. Yeah, I know. No one else gets the reference. Never mind. Enjoy the concert. Since I have sung the Hallelujah Chorus and the Messiah a number of times, I certainly understand what you are saying--and I love Runnin' as well. I will miss it if it doesn't come back. However, I would take Adam singing full-out for a shorter time than not being able to sing as well for a longer time. Sigh. He really does give everything in his performances, and I wouldn't be surprised if he found those few extra songs made his voice too tired to do on a regular basis. I guess even our favorite alien has some limitations! I know he really wants to protect his voice for the long haul.

Gaga slayed that performance--now that is what emotion and passion look like. I can't wait to hear what Adam has to say about it.

I'm watching Sam Smith singing the Spectre song on the Oscars, and all I can think is that Adam would kill a song on the Oscars -- and that Sam Smith's voice doesn't sound that great (he is straining to reach some notes and you can really hear his break when he goes between the lower and higher part of his range. Sigh.).

I know this has been said before, but where does she FIND this stuff? That fabric is so close to the original, and the print is the proper scale as well. Awesome.
