If it works, please put me on the list for one of these! PayPal ready to go. Please, please, please, include me too. Ready to pay to play! And you can add me to the list, too! I have put together a few things, but I would love to have a whole concert!

Startdust -- that bunny is creepy! Those black eyes remind me of something from a sci-fi movie.

I'm hoping that Adam not only attends the Blondes' show, I hope he is part of it. I would love to see him strut down the runway for them, and think of the publicity!

That Silk video is amazing and just up Adam's alley. It reminds me of Zodiac Show performers. I think we are going to see some really interesting stuff this next week! It will keep us occupied while we #trustabitch!

I really like the radio edit of Trespassing -- they cut little bits I didn't expect, but it really keeps the flow fast and hard-hitting, which will translate well to radio. It's snappy and sassy -- and I hope to hear lots of people singing along when I am out and about.

I meant the talent he is bumping up against for the judges spot And, whistle note smitstle note I've never liked her all that much and for me it's evident that some things don't change. Maybe someone can tell me if a whistle note is a musical note....don't know. My opinion, only. But, when I hear that whistle note, that whistle "register" it is like fingernails on chalkboard or biting down on aluminum foil with a tooth with a filling. I just cringe. Is it a musical note? It has pitch, certainly. In the same way that the test signal for the emergency broadcast system has pitch. I can tell you what the note is, but I don't consider it musical any more than the squeal of brakes is musical to my ear. Yes, it is her trademark, but to me it is a trick, it is not singing. Adam is known for his high notes, but they are SUNG, with resonance, depth, emotion, and for a purpose in the interpretation of the song. YMMV I completely agree. I always expect dogs to come running when I hear Mariah sing that note. As a singer, I don't even know what it is--except piercing. And this is just my opinion.

I agree with this..... Success isn't about how much money you make. It's the difference you make in people's lives. ~ @michelleobama ....and thus, Adam is a very, very successful man. That's exactly right. Adam will always be a success in my eyes because of this. (And wasn't that a totally kick-ass speech by the First Lady? Whew!)

Welcome albiku!!! We are very happy to have you!
Congratulations on your retirement, Cookie -- what a blessing to be able to have time for fun!
Grace -- compliments to your family on creating such a wonderful wedding for everyone!
I had a fun experience yesterday -- I was paid to drive a couple of people around to look at possible locations for a movie that will be filmed by Mt. Rainier (big mountain and recreation area about 2 hours from Seattle where I live). Anyway, since I had them trapped in my car for hours, I decided they needed to hear some quality music and played some Trespassing, some GNT live and some Queenbert. The main person I was driving liked the music and said he would be looking up Adam and perhaps buying the album... One convert at a time, people! Of course, it always helps when they literally can't get away...LOL.

I hope this is not too late for the conversation but I have been on the road all day and am just now checking in. So, I don't plan to make Burning Man a constant reference but one of the things I loved about it was the constant and I mean constant bass thump of the playa. There were huge speakers all over, both stationary and mobile, and raves going on 24/7. I think of it as the beat of the playa and almost couldn't sleep last night without it. ANYWAY, my whole point of this reminiscence is that Trespassing seems to fit that beat better than Cuckoo (which was my previous radio fave) and I cannot wait to hear the remixes. It's crazy but there was an amazing remix of Rockin' Robin. Thump, Thump, Thump. I remember when Adam talked about BM as a kind of "survival rave" -- good description, yes? Thumpa, thumpa, thumpa...
