Sigh...love Nat King Cole's voice...so silky smooth. My late father's absolute favourite singer! Dad liked to sing too and imitated Nat King Cole. We would always sing The Christmas Song at the post-Christmas dinner family singalong. I'm really hoping to hear Adam's version!

quackn It's been fun to look at Oliver's New York pictures. My family had a wonderful holiday there in 2007. I see that Oliver went to the Rockettes show at Radio City Music Hall. So did we and it was spectacular! The Hall is enormous -- hard to grasp how big it is until you actually in the space!

SophieB loool Speaking of naked: on friday evening i was under the shower with Shampoo in my Hair when the Power went Out, Nobody Else in the House, the blinds closed in the bathroom, the light flickered once before IT went Out...IT was DARK...luckily the water kept running. Lol After a quick "Huch" I stayed calm but If someone suffers from anxiety that might have been a real problematic Situation That would be a scary and vulnerable moment!! Did the power go out because of that nasty winter storm that was in the headlines over here?

SophieB Thanks for sharing the Nessum Dorma reaction video. I don't usually watch reaction videos unless someone recommends them. Two members of my family spent their careers in the opera world. I think they are rather pleased with themselves that they know nothing about pop music. I shared Adam's version with one of them. I knew that he would be critical, but he didn't say it was awful either! High praise!

Thank you Q3!!! How are you these days? I think I remember you describing a delicious Thanksgiving dinner you were cooking many years ago! Thank you for providing a fun, safe place to hang out and enjoy all things Adam!

kryptoman68 I do remember seeing that video. Fun to see it again and this time I noticed the probably custom made music holder featuring a crown.

momtomany I am revisiting some of the later threads that I initially skimmed. So glad I found your review. You have such a way with words! WOW, being able to celebrate QAL with grandkids who weren't even there to watch American Idol with you! My kids were in high school and saw their Mom fall under Adam's spell. They thought it would be temporary!!! LOL Really interesting that you mention Adam's energy feeding Brian and Roger. I can totally understand and relate to that. I can't even imagine how tired those two must feel when they're not on stage. The other day I saw a country singer being interviewed who had just performed for the first time in front of a huge crowd. He said it was like being jolted by electricity!

kryptoman68 A souped up player piano! LOL Actually I wrote that comment before I watched the video. That KORG explains how five people can make so much complicated music while playing live!! I have wondered about that. And that was 2012. I expect he has upgraded since then!

kryptoman68 I missed your first post, so thanks for bringing it over to this thread. I can see why that sound caught your attention. I don't know much about music but I guess Spike is playing arpeggios. The high tinkling makes me think of a glass harmonica. pi I noticed the riffing had changed too. I thought it was to give Brian a break. I can't even imagine how his hands must feel on this tour ... but he is willing to do it again in Japan. Fingers crossed they all stay healthy!
