Going forward, one can only hope he manages to find a ballsy electronic producer to work with, or a band that is similarly hard and dark and heavy and camp and funky and poppy and slow and sad and serious and ridiculous as Queen was, on top of being excellent. My guess is he won’t: many groups nowadays seem to lack the humour, funk and intelligence of truly iconic bands like Queen or Sabbath. Though if that’s what you’re looking for, you should check out The Defendants! The floor after the show. |

So, does anyone know where to get downloadable versions of the Mark Bowles multi-cam concerts videos? I missed my chance to do that earlier because the internet signal I had for most of the summer was too weak. Mark posted links for downloads yesterday. adamtopia.com/board/23/news-archives-performance-recapsclicked here, and saw the full shows for Seoul and one of the Sonic shows, I think. Both have been blocked by Believe . who the hell is Believe?

just got through reading the thread.
KUDOS to yall in the US that got up very early, or stayed up very late, to be here and post all the goodies.
Can't wait for vids!

Indigo Child - I remember when the talk of this, and Adam being an Indigo Child first came out, at the adamoffical.com site. This was way back during or right after AI8.

Thanks to all for all the lovely coverage. I totally agree, gobsmacked by the brilliance. There is apparently no ceiling, just a stratosphere. Warning: Nuance Fantasy Coming... And in my fantasy world, where I think I can interpret things from a youtube video about people I don't even know, in I Got To Break Free, I see Adam singing directly to Brain, but indirectly referencing why he can't continue on tour with them. Because in my fantasy place, Roger and Brian have definitely asked him. I think they have even asked him to extend this tour. They know, I know they know, what a singular singer/person Adam is. So anyway, to continue with the fantasy in my head, at ~2:40 Adam sings, "God knows, I got to make it on my own." Then he approaches Brian, looks at him with a tenderness that would probably make my head explode it it was directed at me. And he sings, "So baby can't you see, I got to break free," with a wonderful little smile. Hey, it's my fantasy, okay. My mythical interpretation of a few seconds of a youtube video. But it makes me sigh. And be happy. This boy is on his way. Slow and steady (and being immensely talented and a real person) wins the race. All the above, of course, In My Own Fantasy World. ~2:40 red panda I love your fantasy! I wonder if it is close to the truth? I know all the peeps in Europe are dying to see this show, and I would have bet big money they would do a final show in London.

so I clicked here, hoping to find the show reel and watch, no luck! A couple of weeks ago I was able to find the stream that had just finished. Bummer! I just checked it again and the two new recordings from today are up (top two from the Showreel list)! Listening... Again. thanks kryptoman! Listening now, I thought I would get video, but only audio, it's all good! The whole show is up, looks like
