It looks like some longer hair is smooshed under the mesh in the cap. Agree. Adam said in an interview a while back that he might go blond sometime. A Beach Blond seems appropriate. This pic should be on every page of todays thread, I love seeing how happy and in sync they look. The press on this will be fun. Adam, thanks for entertaining us!

We had a discussion of personality types here about a year ago? Who remembers? It was based on several famous studies, and there was a test you could take online to determine what category you fit in. I may be able to find the info................

This is for lynne, holst, and teachers everywhere, as as mwp just said, teachers are saints, and this is one of the reasons why. I received the following email from one of my Adam friends that lives in LA:
Too Busy for a Friend.....
One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.
That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.
On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.
Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.
As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'
After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. 'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.' Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. 'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.'
All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.' Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.' 'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary'. Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'.
That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.
The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.
Sending love and hugs to all my wonderful friends here at Atop. I have made good friends all over the world because of our love of Adam, and the amazing people here on this board. Thanks again, Adam!

major KUDOS to NoAngel! She strikes again with this wonderful essay on Brian & Roger + AFL................. for newbies here, NoAngel wrote a very poignant article on Adam, "The Scarlet Letter" at the beginning of GNT, it can be found on her blog site. Gloria at Adamquotedaily also posted it on her site: adamquotedaily.blogspot.ca/2012/08/queen-and-adam-05082012.htmlToday I need to share this beautiful essay written by NoAngel on Adamtopia. Everyone needs to read this! Yesterday and Today: I Still Love You 8/5/2012 byNoAngel As much as I adored every moment Adam was onstage, for me one of the most emotionally powerful moments in the Queen + AL concerts was Roger and Brian singing "These Are The Days Of Our Lives." Against a video montage of their youthful selves, the pair sang what I heard as a ballad about their shared past. The mood felt nostalgic and warm and poignant and it made me cry each time. In hindsight, the song has taken on even more meaning because I believe that it is also a celebration of the present and a love song to future possibilities. Okay, Queen experts...what is the name of the album that has love of my life on it? As noted one post later...the original love of my life is on a night at the opera. That one is a bit different as it is full instrumentation including piano, harp, and Brian on the Red Special . Any of the live albums - Live Killers, On Fire At The Bowl, Rock Montreal, or Live At Wembley have the type of version you heard during the QAL shows... I like Live Killers and Montreal versions best No Angel - nice essay. Just to point out that I honestly think most of the Queen died with Freddie thing would go all away if Brian and Roger either chose a new name or just went out as May/Taylor + Adam Lambert. Using the name Queen really is more if the sticking point because it can't be Queen without Freddie and John. That's what Queen signifies to that vocal minority. Myself. I know it's just good business sense and rational thought. I k is I'm not really seeing Queen...but it's as close as I can come talon!glad to see you here, and although I have been gone most of the summer, I really appreciate all your imput on this board. There are lots of bands that still perform with their original band name but with not all the same members. I saw Foghat a couple of years ago, and only one of the members was original. The music was good, the lead singer was a young guy,and didn't sound the same as the original lead singer, but everyone still enjoyed the music. I guess with Queen, Freddie was the main attraction because he was the lead singer, but, Roger and Brian also wrote songs, and they all collaborated on their unique sound. Brian, IMO, is a truly brilliant guitarist, and he can shred a guitar like crazy, I was so impressed with his playing during the QueenBert concerts, and ditto for Roger. I think it is sad and also ridiculous for those who say they should pack up and fade away just because they lost their lead singer. As evidenced by this amazing summer, Queen definitely Will Rock You, and the music they performed was definitely Queen. Guess you can tell I don't worship FM. NoAngel, brilliant as usual, and I hope Brian & Roger get to read this. Q as always, love everything you say. Catz, keep em coming, and thanks for sharing and entertaining us!

Hello fellow Gardeners.................
I have been trying to catch up on this thread, and have read all but the middle 5 or 6 pages. I am really enjoying all the beautiful thoughts and images here.
I have found something I want to share:
This is a music fountain in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. I don't recognize the music, but it is an amazing display. If you pay attention, you will see the moon in the background, and it is occassionally pierced by the spray of the fountain, it is so beautiful! (ETA: music is Sound System, by Trinity, or Trinity, by Sound System, not sure which is the title of the song)
Somewhere back a few pages yall were talking about what Adam has brought to your lives, Mika's post in particular about his "Big Year" comes to mind.
This YT link was sent to me by my 16 yr old Ukrainian pen pal, and she will be going to visit the fountain next week. She and I have been corresponding with each other weekly for more than 2 years. When we first started writing each other, she could write only very short sentences that barely made sense. Now she is writing full descriptive paragraphs with very few grammatical errors.
I met her on the AdamLambertNetwork (Adamholics Anonymous), where she asked me if I would help her learn English. I don't know why she picked me, I think she was just reaching out to people on that site, and I was responsive to the idea of writing to her. She is obviously an Adam fan, and went to the Kiev concert to see him. However, more often than not, we talk about everything but Adam.
My friendship with this young girl from Ukraine has been wonderful, and has brought me great joy in seeing her progress from barely able to write a sentence in English to her present fluency. As we write back and forth, I correct her errors, and explain some of our slang term meanings, and also tell her things about the US that I think she might find interesting. She tells me about her school, she is a musician and singer attending an Arts College in Lviv, and about her friends, family and travels, and we also talk about movies and music in general. And, she sends me beautiful pics of flowers and sweet messages for my birthday, Mother's Day, and International Women's Day (which I didn't even know about). We have also exchanged info on our different cultural traditions for holidays, such as Christmas, New Year's, Easter, etc.
I always look forward to hearing from her, and when I get busy and don't respond to her mails, she worries if I am OK. She is a sweet and intelligent young girl, and I would never have known her, or been able to help her if it weren't for our mutual love of Adam.
Thanks, Adam!

Here's my contribution to the "Must Have" collection, and it took me forever to find this.
Also, I realize this will be unpopular with some of yall here, but D A M N N N N how I would love to see Adam in a romantic role opposite a woman, would def be one of my all time "to die for" moments, just to see Adam and be able to fantasize about it all. This vid gets me all kinds of giddy and send tingles down my spine, my whole body, really......................
I do love Adam just the way he is, and being gay is a huge part of who he is and it makes him such a sexy and facinating and lovable MF, and I wouldn't change him for anything. Still, I would love love love to see him in a hot sexy scene with some beautiful girl.
I'm running to hide now before peeps start throwing things at me
