What a great thread tonight! I'm loving all the stories behind your names, and as a bonus some stories about how you found Adam as well. My nick is a part of my real name, and a play on the word nick as well. And because that was taken, I had to think of some numbers, and since I am a major geek, of course they should be 42 (the "Answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy). It was made up on the spot, because I found Adam through youtube only a couple of months ago. I lurked here for a while, and when I finally had summoned enough courage to really join a forum for the first time ever, especially one with people that knew eachother for quite a while, I wanted to do so immediately. Is it a thing now to tape yourself watching TV? I can't quite figure out why someone would do that. If I had recorded myself watching MTN (which I never ever do), I would have held perfectly still, rivet my eyes on Adam, trying to feel everything possible and maybe later, when I watch MTN about hundredth time, I can already start to move around, dance and shouting. |

It is interesting to read how you chose your mailing name!  I also wanted a name that I think would describe me, and when I heard the Queen's "The Show Must Go On"- lyrics "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies", I knew immediately that here it is: butterfly!
