This week, the topic was obvious—Adam was going to participate in the European Music Awards!!! But every time I tried to put into words what I was feeling about this Sunday, I failed. How to translate flail into something more coherent than keysmashing? After a while I realized that at least for now, it was beyond me. So for today, all I can do is put out my wishes:
For us, that our expectations, whatever they are—are met, and that we can celebrate together today and for many days to come in this next era.
For Adam—that he has the time of his life and that all the joy he gives to us comes back to him a thousand-fold.
And because I am a born-too-late hippie and a sentimental fool, I'm quoting Bob Dylan…
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
