Lurking on my I-pad during a break at work...don't tell.
Here's a thought that came to me when one of you fine posters called Adam an "agent of change". If some time in the future Adam and Sauli decided to commit to a long term relationship, could Sauli be denied the privilege of living in California because he is not a citizen? Most people could marry to gain citizenship. Could you imagine a more attractive couple highlighting the unfairness in failing to recognize marriage for all? (I cannot imagine Adan living in Finland for long if it is cold!)

I wouldn't expect Adam to be there, but didn't expect Steven, either. Steven & Carrie make me think AI and then I think Adam and then I think I want Adam on that stage. I'm not saying it makes sense. I have a feeling that Adam is going to have to pay his dues just like the rest of the music "stars." We already think he is a star, but I am afraid there are people who think he is just starting in the music/recording business. No matter how good he is, everyone has to pay their dues. That is just the conclusion I have come to because I know Adam is the best singer out there. I can think of no other reason he wouldn't be asked to sing with Underwood or Tyler. I think that is just the way life treats you. Pay your dues!!!. I am finished with work early enough to post! Forgive me for being in the middle of the thread. I like your thoughts here, Irish. In my opinion, established stars often think "I worked my way up, so should you...(without my coat tails). A few may be intimidated by a "newbie's" talent. When Adam is the established star, I'm sure there will be many duets. He has nothing to fear talent-wise and he would probably enjoy helping a new artist. I dream someday of Adam owning/hosting his own television show featuring new talent (and lots of Adam!)

Was merely trying to interpret the lyrics to the song...
I attempted to grab a camera.....
Was trying for a celebratory fist pump....Whats next? I was simply trying to execute a dance move when the the laces on my pants gave way....It was not my intention to cause my fans to faint in disbelief. We need another posting rule for Adamtopia: Do not drink tea while reading...stealth hilarious post will lead to keyboard ruination! Risking electrocution to type this...

quietlion - just want to say Hi from another Chicagoland fan. There seems to be a reasonable number of us here and on twitter, but you sure couldn't tell from our local radio! (I'm from the far west suburbs, but there seem to be AFL fans throughout the area) Your lion avi is adorable Thanks pjd! I realized we live in the same area when you mentioned your local Walmart. Mine is undergoing construction, too. I am in the northwest suburbs. Don't get me started on local radio...but at least they don't play Bieber often, either! Heard FYE once last May because my daughter requested it for Mother's Day! Great present.

out of lurking with my thoughts ,(will prob have to stay there for a long time after ive given themLOL) i just think this is (deliberate or not, most likley not)total pr genius because its gaga this will spead and rapid, some of you have said adam needs to attract younger fans ,and some of the younger ones didnt see him as cool. younger people like edgier stars (mine does )this is publicity and there is no such thing as bad publicity as a teen and older we followed the bands who trashed up hotels wrecked their guitars on stage, much more fun than the vannilla guys, ever heard the expresion "ive been thrown out of better parties " well beat that one If I may "out lurk" (Hee!) too, I think if GaGA is upset at all, it is because Adam upstaged her twice...at the AMA's , and her own birthday party. Of course, since I don't follow GaGa, I have no idea how many articles her party garnered.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm too tired to work on my avi tonight (thanks again, Gelly) but not too tired to read the whole thread. I wondered when the next "roller coaster drop" would happen. Now I know, but should I be embarrassed to admit that I haven't laughed so hard in years?
Interesting idea that Adam may not mind gossip about wild times. Gaga, Ke$ha are having success with it now, as countless others have before. Truthfully, though, these artists bore me. I can't describe Adam without using lists of antonyms, but he's real, and really fun! FYE indeed!

Gelly I love this pic! It will be my avi when I get home from work. Don't tell, but I'm at work now using my new I-pad. (Insert Seoulmate's lurking cat here.) My apple to enjoy apple pie, right?
