Thanks Q3. I'll take my 3 weeks of sinusitis over your 3 months of winter as well. Perhaps those around me were fortunate that I was less active/animated than I normally would have been. lol....But come showtime each nite.....I felt like a million bucks! That one eye connection from Adam at Nottingham made it all worthwhile. Linda, Nadine, Sandy and I all got noticed and even a thumbs up on one of two trips up our golden ladder. Oh that is great. Ya'll deserved a thumbs up for being amazing fans -- and more. And, if you were anything like you were in London and Leeds, you probably danced more than anyone in the audience. (Hard to believe you were sick -- even though I knew you were!) My last concert was my best. I was in the front row and close to the stage in Manchester and Adam recognized me -- I was so surprised. I have no idea how or why he remember me or recognized me since I had my hair cut in Leeds -- 6" cut off. Neil also waved to me from the stage -- which blew me away because he is from Manchester and had so many friends and family members there. Oddly, the same thing happened at my last concert in North America, Toronto #2. Setting aside my one on-stage experience, those two "last concerts" were the only times I have had that eye-contact moment with Adam. And those two "last concerts: were the only time Neil pointed and waved at me. Still amazed how Adam and Neil can remember fans and pick them out of that see of people. ETA: Dancy, I need a geography lesson. But as the snow falls here for the 4th day in a row, I feel like I live in a snowglobe.

Boy, I'm ready to try oil of oregano for the future.
But the last two weeks have done me in.
Felt great till the 2nd O2 performance. Could it have been my walk thru the streets of London in freezing temps till 3:30AM with Q3??? We missed the last train to our station after the Saturday night performance - - - I had no idea that the London Underground stops operation at midnight! So unlike NYC! I thought subways ran 24-7 . . . hello, momtomany!
Sick as a dog - even now. Something was in the air; be it on the plane over or on the train to Scotland; or the tubes of England. I was afraid if I let on how sick I felt I would be removed from my flight home. Didn't 'give in' till I arrived back in San Francisco - swear I've used half the kleenex this city has to offer!
Be well, Brian! Adam . . . if it nails you, blow hard and sing through. I never lost my voice - but I can hardly hear! lol - it will be familiar; just like earpieces that don't work!

Dancy....not sure. I started getting a sore throat the first night after we landed. Started out slowly, then progressed. The hoarseness and coughing was the worse part....along with the lack of sleep. I was pretty much a zombie during the day. I had flown up on Tues nite to DC and then started getting sick like on Friday nite after flying to Heathrow. Have you been to the doctor? My husband insisted I go...he said I looked and sounded terrible. I never go to the doctor....but relented and went to Urgent Care. Hope you get to feeling better. My steriod and antibiotic shot today has me feeling a little better already. I've never taken steriods...heard they give you energy. I am going tomorrow - that's why I'm asking, since I likely picked this up from you. I really don't think I'm contagious....Sandy is fine. I think mine was a sinus infection that progressed. I didn't take anything for it except tylenol and cough drops. I still think it was the airplane air...but who knows. Something irritated my sinuses and they went into overdrive. You're right the temps in England weren't any colder than here. I never got cold over there...in fact was often hot with a coat on the train, or tube which made the cough worse.

It snowed a few inches here the night I got back, and is supposed to snow again tonight. There is a ski area an hour from where I live, although it is mostly man made snow. It may be the south, but we are 900 feet up and between two mountain ranges.
