I am going tomorrow - that's why I'm asking, since I likely picked this up from you. I really don't think I'm contagious....Sandy is fine. I think mine was a sinus infection that progressed. I didn't take anything for it except tylenol and cough drops. I still think it was the airplane air...but who knows. Something irritated my sinuses and they went into overdrive. You're right the temps in England weren't any colder than here. I never got cold over there...in fact was often hot with a coat on the train, or tube which made the cough worse. My sinuses seem to be affected too. But could be from an infection. But I think mine started in the lungs and worked up to my sinuses.

Oh, Momtomany........bless your heart....(or ears). Who knows all the irritants and germs in the crowded, under-ventilated air we breathed. I had purposefully loaded up on my Wellness capsules before I left home. They usually boost my immune system. I haven't been sick in several years. I continued taking them thruout or think I might not have been able to endure. Let's see.....6 or 7 hotel rooms with various heating systems...6 or 7 train rides...numerous tubes....darn airplanes. The good thing about being home is getting some meds to knock it out and life will go on......until the next time when Adam is in some foreign land and we'll do it all over again.

Oh that is great. Ya'll deserved a thumbs up for being amazing fans -- and more. And, if you were anything like you were in London and Leeds, you probably danced more than anyone in the audience. (Hard to believe you were sick -- even though I knew you were!) My last concert was my best. I was in the front row and close to the stage in Manchester and Adam recognized me -- I was so surprised. I have no idea how or why he remember me or recognized me since I had my hair cut in Leeds -- 6" cut off. Neil also waved to me from the stage -- which blew me away because he is from Manchester and had so many friends and family members there. Oddly, the same thing happened at my last concert in North America, Toronto #2. Setting aside my one on-stage experience, those two "last concerts" were the only times I have had that eye-contact moment with Adam. And those two "last concerts: were the only time Neil pointed and waved at me. Still amazed how Adam and Neil can remember fans and pick them out of that see of people. ETA: Dancy, I need a geography lesson. But as the snow falls here for the 4th day in a row, I feel like I live in a snowglobe. It snowed a few inches here the night I got back, and is supposed to snow again tonight. There is a ski area an hour from where I live, although it is mostly man made snow. It may be the south, but we are 900 feet up. If you want some more just let me know. While we are reminiscing about the UK concerts -- we got one great and somewhat rare treat -- we got to take the train through Yorkshire (Leeds to Manchester concert) with the snow falling. It was beautiful. Big flakes falling and some of the most picturesque countryside in the world. I wish I was a better photographer. *** If I had the time -- cold, snow, wind, rain, sleet, nothing would keep me away from going to every concert on this tour. I would have loved to have been there tonight.

I love the intro to OV with Adam on the ramp. I know it was because Bri was sick but I like it better than the Brian guitar shadow. (hangs head in shame since Brian is my favorite guitarist but Adam is just... well....so Adamized.) instagram.com/p/ydB8laDO0H/

My first thought was to be sorry that Brian felt so bad. My second was "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ADAM!" Not in the same bus, plane, dressing room, backstage area. Do not touch the same things. Do not speak to each other within 3 feet. STAY AWAY! cassie, I think the "no-touchy" ship has sailed! Adam and Brian have all kinds of close moments throughout the concerts, and then there's that back-and-forth mic exchange with a lovely hand-to-mouth germ transfer. Actually, from time to time I've wondered what on earth would happen if ANY of them got really sick and just couldn't do a concert! They are such a tight team! I mean, what if Spike or Neil got really sick? Would it possible to just replace them spur of the moment? And I don't think Rufus could take over from his dad for an entire concert. I dunno. ??? Not sure about the big 3 but Neil, or Rufus got sick...then yes they would be replaced. Rufus honestly as much as I enjoy him is a bit superfluous...it just means Rog has to work a little harder and there would be less ornamentation. With Neil, he would most likely be replaced by another Neil...Neil Murray. Precedence took place...when QPR was on tour bassist Danny Miranda got ill and missed a few dates to be in the hospital and Neil Murray (who has worked in the Brian May Band as well as in the WWRY musical) just jumped in. They shuffled the set a bit but for the most part the show went on. Now Spike? As the MD he'd be harder to replace but I don't think it'd be impossible for a gig or two. Obviously if Brian, Roger, or Adam went down for a gig I would think it'd be cancelled. BUT I could be wrong. I guess it *IS* feasible that Rufus might sub for his old man in a pinch if they wanted to attempt it. I did hear from some decent sources that at one point on tour Queen had Jeff Scott Soto as a backup in case Paul went down just to fulfil the dates and not disappoint the crowd...but I also heard that was also the case because of rising tension between Brian and Paul...
