I have been thinking a bit about TOH and Max Martin. Yes, Max has been responsible for a ton of Top 10 hits, but his role on TOH is actually bigger than composing and producing a track or two. He is EP for the whole album -- and that is the most promising part of this whole release.
And it give this album real credibility in the music industry.
Max Martin has been EP for 6 recent studio albums....and look at the list!
1989 [with Taylor Swift]
V, and Overexposed Maroon 5
PRISM, and Teenage Dream Katy Perry [with Dr. Luke and Katy Perry]
Femme Fatale Britney Spears [with Dr. Luke]
****
He also was EP for three less important albums earlier in his career...but none were global releases:
Unbeautiful, Lesley Roy (2008)
The Way I Am, Ana Johnsson (2004)
Shades of Purple, M2M (2000)

As if there is not enough hotness up there on that stage, the combo (yet as unseen, as far as I can remember), of Brian May in the skull shirt and Adam in the red shirt might very well do me in!

Perhaps I am in minority, but IMO there is no way in hell NFL invites Adam. He can be THE singer of 2015, he can be nominated to all Grammy categories, he can be the only person played on the radio and IMO they will still NOT invite him. (Even though we did elect Obama, and twice... ) When I first saw Adam in AI, I thought puritan America would soon vote him off. I was very pleasantly surprised he came in second. I had seriously underestimated the Americans, and I apologize for that. And now, with the winds of equality blowing strong in the US, maybe there is a pleasant surprise waiting for you too?

The polls are closed, the results are in and our readers have spoken. Queen is the winner of three 2015 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards, taking the Tour, Live Album/Video and Commercial of the Year categories. You can see the results below.
For Tour of the Year, Queen + Adam Lambert’s trip across North America ended up with 57 percent of the vote. Not even the combined firepower of Foreigner, Styx and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder on their ‘Soundtrack of Summer’ tour (29 percent) could touch Queen. None of the other nominees had as much as five percent.
Queen faced their biggest challenge in the Live Album or Video of the Year category. Their ‘Live at the Rainbow ’74‘ release, which gave fans a glimpse at the band just as they were about to break through, had nearly 41 percent. At 30 percent, Toto’s ‘35th Anniversary Tour: Live in Poland’ was good enough for second, with Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Appetite for Democracy 3D’ (almost 10 percent) taking third place.
But it was for Commercial of the Year where Queen proved its muscle. Just as the film studios will save their Oscar-worthy films for Christmastime, the Verizon commercial which used ‘I Want It All’ that aired throughout the holiday season won the prize. It took 64 percent of the vote, with its nearest competitor, Motley Crue’s spot for Dodge Charger, got only six percent of the votes. Surprisingly, only one percent of our readers voted for the long-lost ad that Paul Stanley made for Folgers Coffee that became a viral sensation.
Congratulations to Queen on their three 2015 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards!

I have yet to hear a Max Martin song that I didn't instantly love. They are so freakin catchy. He is the master of the earworm IMO and that makes me really excited for Adam's next album. Adam wants radio and he needs radio and there is no way around that.
This will offend some but it's reality so here goes: the majority of the people on this board ARE NOT the demographic that Adam and WBR is shooting for. If you aren't a pop radio listener (many on here say they are not) it doesn't matter if you like Max's music or think it's generic/formula crap. It gets played on radio and that's what matters to pop radio and to labels and the artists who want that kind of success/exposure.
If Adam didn't care about radio play he certainly would not have gone to Max and Shellback, the two men who produced his biggest hit to date (WWFM). I think it's clear what Adam's goal is. He was massive/mainstream success. He wants to be in the same league as Katy, Lady Gaga, and many others who churn out hit after hit and if that's what he wants then that's what I want for him.
Personally I listen to more rock than pop but I do love pop music so I'm excited to see what is to come from this magical team of Adam/Max/Shellback. I think it's going to be fabulous.
Hey Glitter this post is good as heck xoxox
