"Ghost Town" is number 74 on the May 5 USA Top 100 Shazam Chart: hitsdailydouble.com/shazam_us_top_100 Last week it was off the chart at number 114. Moving on up! It's the fourth-biggest gainer of the week. Also, according to Hits Daily Double, Trespassing has sold 197,000 copies to date: hitsdailydouble.com/new_album_releases I assume that number is for the U.S. only since Hits Daily Double only tracks U.S. numbers for its building sales and streaming charts. That's more than the 101,000 U.S. copies sold that was reported in a recent Billboard article. I wonder why his management didn't correct that figure. Yeah, more things for us to track. How are you figuring the off the chart and gainer numbers? I went to the main Shazam site where it shows number of lookups too. I can see where someday we'd like to see him on the "Buzz" chart which is the most shared. Jablea, the first column in the Shazam chart I linked to on the Hits Daily Double site shows last week's chart position. Since GT came in at 114 last week, it was off the Top 100 chart. And if you click on the red Click for Biggest Gainers button at the top of the chart, you'll see that Adam is fourth on the list. I just used the list for that number. It's too late at night for me to do math in my head! : ) Also, I see that there are now three of my favorites, in addition to Adam, releasing albums on June 16. Amos Lee and Jill Scott have joined the party along with James Taylor. Looking at her last first week sales, it's possible that Jill Scott could take the number one spot. (I don't think Nate Ruess will. And I'll repeat, just stay away, Rihanna.) But, I know it's music, not a competition, and I'm happy to have so much music that I know I'll enjoy being released that week.

Misha, pretty sure we have had that 197K figure for some time now. It is not current. I will check the numbers thread and BRB ETA: Found it! The BB article was March of 2014 and had the figure of 192 K. Yes, it is just the US!

Since i really don't know to much about bad singing Problems, can some of you that know about that stuff please tell me that Adam has a good enough technical skill, that what happens now with Sam SMith will NEVER happen with him.
It won't, right?
And no, i am really not that interessted if Sam Smith will have these problemes for the rest of his career, but a dear friend of mine is Superfan of him and Sheeran and she told me it is the third time in a year that he lost his voice. That IS a lot for a Person not quite middle 20s, isn't it?
So please just tell me ADAM will not have These Kind of Problems, entiteld and worried fan here. Interestingly enough Adam said today in one of the interviews ( they asked about Sam) that he had a vocal hemorage a few years before idol and did not talk for a week while he healed. He also commented that it really scared him. That may very well be why he appears to be so meticulous about taking care of his voice. Around the 4:30 mark here
