graciejane I had not the time to watch all of this nice interviews, missed this one, thank you. I hope for Sam and my friend that he will also find a good way to work healthy with his voice. You are welcome. Adam is an interviewers dream, all of them have been entertaining. I hope Sam and his doctors get him all sorted out too.

Finally worked my way through yesterdays 28 pages.
There is one Story i remember from my Cousin about 4 years ago. Now, she is a younger Cousin , now 22, and her parents where living in UK at that time, along with her and her younger brother.
She won a M&G with One direction at that time when they were starting fresh from (Britain's got Talent?? X-Factor???) , whatever and it was from her favourite Radio Station.
There were about 100 Girls, a couple of Boys and a couple of older ladies there, whom she assumed were Drivers for the younger fans. They weren't. They were Long time followers of the Talent Show and one of These Ladies told my Cousin she had followed every year her favourites after these Shows for quite some times. Why not, if she have the time and Money, good for dedicated fans and for artists that have them, right? Now, my Cousin then was shuffeld through to the M&G area and when she later came back to entrance met this Lady again, who told her she herself was not having the Chance for M&G The Team around the Boys sorted everyone out, that didn't fit who they wanted as presentable photographed evidence of a good fanbase for the Boys. My Cousin talked with a couple of others, also not "wished" for fans there, None of the Ladies got through, also None of the Boys and a couple of not so fortunate looking young Girls were also denied. All of These People were regular followers of the Radio Station my Cousin is not sure with every Lady there, but most of the Girls and all but three of the Boys were from her City. All of These fans won M&G but the not desired were later told, they had "won the Chance" for the M&G , not the sure promise.
Don't know if that happens often. My Cousin likes One Direction, was at a couple of concerts, meet a lot of These People again including the Lady she talked first with and nearly everyone of the denied Fans later had a M&G if they could manage it. But not one published, or official with a lot of press, like the one my Cousin first attended.
I have no meaning to that. If i ever would have one with Adam, i fear that i will be tonguetied or worse fall to his feet and since i am here in Germany and work sh**y hours i most likely will never have the Chance in the first place.
I do not critique any of what i told here, and my Cousin thought it quiet normal and she also said most of the denied fans, after they swalloed their dissapointment, also were understanding. The Team was trying (and succeding)in making One Direction a highly desirable act, so they were looking only for what they wanted to be seen in the press. Is it nice? No. Is it Logical? Yes. As it is often said here, for Adam it is better not to be to Close to American Idol, because of mostly no NEW Fans from there and also the older Demographic, well and because it is going down, also. My Cousin is not an avid watcher of British Talent Shows and she wasn't at that time either, but she has known then, that a lot of parents and grandparents of her friends were watching more regulary than the desired Age Group. So same Problem in UK as in USA? Well they managed really good to make it seem to the GP that One Direction ONLY has YOUNG CUTE GIRLS as fans, so maybe they know what they were doing for instant success. IN and Pretty Girl Group thinking. So i understand the not Young enough Fans nor the pretty enough fans being disallowed on official M&Gs, but the Young Boys not allowed on M&Gs? I didn't understand that. My dear Cousin found it normal also. She said in her Age Group Girls like speculating too, but not really want to see cute Boys near their favourite Boys. Shows me that i clearly have no idea about boyband fandom.
After reading through all what i just have written, i see that i missed the Point. I just wanted to say, that i heard from these way more YOUNG oriented Stars too, that they have " not Official desired" fans, who were just not that welcomed for widely seen Pressstuff, but other than that have no Problem in the fandom, according to my Cousin at least and she is a real STAN of One Direction now.
If my post is not wished for or seen as inaproppriate i have no Problem if it cancelled just wanted to mention the Story my Cousin told me.
I don't see anything wrong at any Age for fans or how often a fan goes to something, but for good Publicity some parts of Fandom are just not that welcomed by the Stars and their Teams. Just reality.

In the Jesse and Delana interview---I'm his 5th grade teacher.... Super cute story! 5th grade is such an important year for kids, they were lucky to have someone like you. Your boys: https://instagram.com/p/2W5eREC907 Thank you, graciejane. You are so right -5th grade is such an important one for children, a time when their personalities are being defined, and it's such a joy to watch them grow. Jesse shined in my classroom because he loved performing. We did many historical re-enactments because that is the way I love to teach history--and Jesse excelled in portraying prominent figures in American history. He also loved our weekly news programs and it was easy to see, even back then when he was only 11, that he he had a star quality about him. Jesse reminds me of Adam in the sense that he was always willing to help others in the class; he didn't have to always be the center of attention, and even though he probably doesn't remember any of this, I certainly, do---and his classmates benefited from his joyful and sweet, helpful personality. I think he did a great job interviewing Adam-and I wasn't at all surprised when he landed the position as the ON AIR personality {Star 94.1 FM -6AM-10AM} here in San Diego several years ago--and I wrote that to him in the letter he mentioned in the interview. It does feel a little weird that he brought up my name to Adam---took me a few seconds to get over the shock!!! Ha Ha-but that's Jesse. I just wish that the lines of communication hadn't got crossed at the station, because it seems that I was supposed to be at the restaurant yesterday. Maybe it will happen for me someday. Meantime , I feel so blessed to have been a part of Jesse's early life-and the lives of so many other children throughout my teaching years. It is such a profound and humbling profession and one that enables us to see the potential in the lives of all children and let them know the unique gifts they have to offer the world. Thank you again for your kindness, Graciejane.
