Welllll, thank you for posting this oldie. I'm slurpin that yummy thing up like a hungry kitty with a bowl of milk.
I saw Adam live in Chicago for the Idol tour. When he came onstage, the place went bonkers. It was like no one had been onstage before him that night. He was amazing. The Bowie medley was perfect for him. It is so cool to see the vid again. So much has happened since then, but he is still the Adam I fell in love with, just as talented if not more so. And as beautiful as ever.

Responding to DancyGeorgia regarding yesterday's post about the Glee scene between Adam and Kurt. Yes, I believe you are right, I had heard that too, that Adam and Kurt add-lipped that little improv session. But the sentences before, showing compassion and understanding were part of the script. And I think Adam does an excellent job at playing a person who stays calm and supportive and does so with very subtle expressions and gestures. His acting was on-point, and in fact did not feed off of the overacting that the others in this show, in this case Kurt, exhibit. I find this especially interesting, given that Adam always stresses, how he did not know what he was doing when it came to acting, and how he was picking up cues from the others. He clearly relied on own inner strength when it comes to playing the role, and the fact that Adam did not overact impressed me a lot. I always wondered whether he practiced his lines with one of his acting friends. He is resourceful this way, and we probably would never find out. But this is exactly, how I would hope him to play the calm psycologist too. The one that stays sane in the 'asylum', because just like in Glee, on this show, everyone is also overacting in the sorority, everything is camp and overdone, kind of to overcome the macabre and absurdity of it all. We shall see, whether this all will happen. I have no idea, just that window in the calendar called March, to go by. Since Adam and Demi were guest stars during the same time period, I found it very interesting how much acting they gave Adam compared to Demi. Demi did great during the musical numbers, but she sounded very awkward delivering her acting lines, like a deer in the headlights. But Adam was a natural, and of course had so much experience acting in theater.
I think we'd all love to see Adam get a few acting jobs. I think he has potential. Look at JHud. Her acting career has really blossomed. She isn't really concentrating as much on albums and touring. Doesn't have to. I hope Adam gets his chance. But he has to stay visible on the music charts in order to keep the attention of potential directors, TV and movie peeps, etc. That's why promoting and supporting his music is so important. A high profile gives him a chance at being noticed for a stab at acting. QAL is also a bonus for him. It's a big gig with world-wide attention. I want ALL of Adam's talents to be used to their fullest!

BTW, is it true that Demi's tour "fell apart?" Was that the result of the "no Adam, yes Nick" thing? Or did it just fall apart anyway? Guess I'm a little confused. (BTW, I think Adam did a very good job on Glee. He didn't overdo it. He had a realistic character to play and he portrayed it well. More, please!

But Adam was a natural, and of course had so much experience acting in theater. I don't know, Demi has A LOT of acting experience. She could have done more acting in Glee, but I think she had time conflicts. Anyway, she had her own show on Disney and was in at least three Disney movies. Demi was dealing with a lot of personal issue when she was on Glee. She has apparently resolved them and is planning to do some more TV in late 2016 or 2017.
