I think the mention of the Demi tour falling apart meant the Adam + Demi tour plan falling apart...

This is completely OT, so mods can delete it or move it... Some Christmas patisserie done by our local Boulangerie... The decorated streets for the Valbonne Christmas market Local lady playing her ukulele Christmas cupcakes Slow day, I should be packing... Gorgeous pictures!!! Thank you. Makes me feel very nostalgic of good times in Europe around this time of year.

A couple of random thoughts as I catch up on the thread
1) Glamberts doing tequila shots together. Maybe we should all have a shot on NYE when the clock strikes midnight for each of us who are online around the world. That could be a lot of shots - but at least an hour in between !!
2) insomnia related to Adam. I am glad I am not the only one. The man occupies every waking hour - and yes my internal Adam clock also wakes me up when I know there is an event I should "be attending", even if it's only online through streams. These last few weeks especially have been killer with busy work days, holiday hustle and bustle and all of the holiday radio promo shows. I don't like slow Adam news days - but I do feel I need some time to relax and catch up on the wonderful videos we've had.

I just happened across this interview from Nov 25 from Alsolute Radio in the UK which I had seen before. Notice Adam talking about his upcoming TOH Tour beginning at the 12:10 mark. He talks about kicking off the TOH tour on NYE in Singapore..then onto Asia and NZ and Australia....then he mentions "there are gonna be some dates somewhere in there in the USA, but we haven't announced them yet, altho I kinda have (he laughs), and then we're here in the UK and Europe in April". Wonder if when he recorded that interview he believed that the US dates were going to be in between OZ and UK/EU. Sure sounds like it to me. Wonder if that schedule just didn't work out.

Thanks so much for bringing this here, bamafan! One of the questions I always wanted to ask Adam was how his opera training had informed his singing.

BTW, is it true that Demi's tour "fell apart?" Was that the result of the "no Adam, yes Nick" thing? Or did it just fall apart anyway? Guess I'm a little confused. (BTW, I think Adam did a very good job on Glee. He didn't overdo it. He had a realistic character to play and he portrayed it well. More, please! Her tour is fine. Not selling well in some markets, but it is early.

Since Adam and Demi were guest stars during the same time period, I found it very interesting how much acting they gave Adam compared to Demi. Demi did great during the musical numbers, but she sounded very awkward delivering her acting lines, like a deer in the headlights. But Adam was a natural, and of course had so much experience acting in theater.
I think we'd all love to see Adam get a few acting jobs. I think he has potential. Look at JHud. Her acting career has really blossomed. She isn't really concentrating as much on albums and touring. Doesn't have to. I hope Adam gets his chance. But he has to stay visible on the music charts in order to keep the attention of potential directors, TV and movie peeps, etc. That's why promoting and supporting his music is so important. A high profile gives him a chance at being noticed for a stab at acting. QAL is also a bonus for him. It's a big gig with world-wide attention. I want ALL of Adam's talents to be used to their fullest!
Listen guys, I have worked in the theater and tv business and I can tell you he is very much on the top list of many theater and tv producers. Whether he becomes a top selling pop star does not matter to them. They recognize the talent and potential that he would bring to their shows. The point is, they have seen Adam's talent and they know he would be a huge advantage. He wants to be successful as a pop star. If he gets that or not, it does not matter as far as his career is concerned. He will always work in the business in some genre. He is that good.

Not selling well in some markets, but it is early. I've heard that her previous tour didn't sell too well either.
