If you mean Neil's, no. That wedding is going to be in San Diego by all signs. misdirection, I think Leila? is from Long Island Leila is from New Jersey but she's lived in California since 1983. Elisse Montgomery (Neil's girlfriend) is from California and lives in San Francisco. I believe the wedding will be in California.

WOW! Taylor Swift gave Keshas 250K to help with legal fees! Go, Taylor!! Yeah.. Go Taylor! I like this girl and since I heard her songs a lot on the radio while driving to work, I like some of her songs. I don't really care if she only have one octave range.

cassie wrote: cassie, thank you for stepping in and addressing this issue. I absolutely agree that stepping away is one solution, and one I have used. All of the below my opinion only, YNNV and feel free to scroll if necessary. I would like to see included in the solution the reminder that this is communication done without the benefit of visual interpretation or clarification. I think part of the solution also lies with posters being kind when expressing their opinions. I don't think that anyone would disagree with the right to free speech and the right to have and express an opinion. I think what sometimes hurts or offends or results in a sharp response is the tone of the opinion rather that the opinion itself. Both parties in an interaction bear responsibility for the interaction, IMO. The reader and the writer, the person with an opinion and the person responding. So, while I agree that walking away, scrolling, trying to have a kind interpretation of a poster's opinion are great tools, I also think that we should all be careful how we express our opinions. Sometimes perhaps the posters expressing an opinion should also should spend a little time away from the computer, then review their post to see if it is possible to express themselves in a more temperate way, or a way that opens the channels of communication rather than closing them. What I'm trying to say is that it is not always the person reading the post who could make the effort to create a kinder forum, it also should be the person expressing their opinion tempering their language, being considerate and trying to be aware of how their opinion might sound, or if there would be a way to better express their opinion. Stating an opinion as a fact can be off-putting, I believe. Even though many people feel that because they are saying it, it should be inherently understood that it is their opinion. To me, it is entirely different to say, "Adam looks bad in board shorts," rather than, "I prefer Adam in skin tight pants," or "Board shorts are not my favorite on Adam." (No idea what the details of Q3's original comment were, just extrapolating on the example you used.) Sometimes just adding qualifiers can make an opinion more palatable, less abrasive. www.englishpractice.com/improve/express-opinion-politely/Really not preaching, and I'm sorry if it seems so. I think communicating well is something most people struggle with, me too, but I sure recognize and appreciate a kind communicator when I encounter one, and try to learn. And this forum really means something to me, and it would lovely for it to feel safe and welcoming for all.

I think live Adam is the best vocalist ive ever heard or seen. Some just can't suspend disbelief with him. How many pop singers have his voice? Maybe Adele. A weird theatre kid doing pop. That's why I loved Gt. Lets be honest Adam aint the run of your mill pop star haha. While I would love Adam to do a rock album one day. I only see that happening with Queen tbh. Adele? I'd call her a decent song "stylist," along the lines of some of the old standards singers. I wouldn't say she even approaches having a great voice. Of course, it's pretty subjective whether someone's voice grabs a listener, and I've been pretty vocal here about how much her voice grates on my ears! Haha! But yeah, I don't know who Adam can really be compared to in the pop world. Adele grabs the masses but certainly not me, even though I liked some of her songs on the precious album. It was more the songs though. Her voice? Not feeling it. I clearly prefer Gaga's voice for instance. Had high hopes for her at the Grammys...

WOW! Taylor Swift gave Keshas 250K to help with legal fees! Go, Taylor!! Taylor taking Kesha's side just makes Sony look worse in this than they already do. Add this to the fact that not one person that has worked with Dr. Luke has spoken up in support of him........... Sony can't be very happy. My hope is that this continues to escalate and Sony, in an attempt to save face, has no choice but to give Kesha her freedom and lets her out of her contract.
