Question: which thread are we posting news on? Because in the opening post from this one it said only post well wishes for Adam here and news on the thread from yesterday. Yet I see news posts on both threads now.

I'm back! Windows 10 totally screwed up my world for the last few days! FINALLY found my passwords cheat sheet and was able to log on! I hope they're using magic potions and whatever else to get Adam well for his Idol performance. He sounded so absolutely excited about singing his new single on Thursday night. GET WELL, Adam!! I have to say that the crowd at the Ryman went nuts when he sang The Original High. He got the biggest smile on his face from that response. It's one of my favorites and I liked it "live" but much better on the CD. That is not usually the case with me as I've always thought that Adam's CD's are somewhat over produced and I look forward to hearing him sing live. This held true for most of the songs off of TOH just not the title song (for me). I was very unhappy with the sound at the Ryman (chipmonky). I was sure this was going to be a venue with good acoustics -- NOT. That kind of blew it for me. Adam is so damn engaging. I loved everything about his performance. Of course, for me I miss some of his antics but I completely understand his shift and am happy he is obtaining a broader appeal. It will let many more doors open for him. There were more newbies then die-hards and that was great for him. Oh, the Ryman uses church pews for seating. My row was six seats. Let me just say, the four people that got there ahead of me were squeezed into the six seat space. No kidding. And, even when they tried to squeeze in tighter, someone the size of Natalie Portman would still not fit. Thankfully, the people in the row behind were able to make some room and so were the people across. It kinda ruined things for me at first but I got over it. I am so happy for Adam. Oh, and I loved that he mentioned how enthusiastic the southern audiences have been for him. Maybe he'll get his butt back here more often! Well, I hate that the sound wasn't good for you and you were smushed. Too bad you weren't sitting on the row with Dancygeorgia....her short pew contained a couple larger folks and The Ryman added an extra folding seat on the end of Pit AA ..seat 13....and she was placed directly in front of me. What a pleasant surprise! I was on the end of BB. It was her lucky night.....and mine as well....as it turned out. Before the show started, I spotted a couple of fans who I knew from past experience on several occasions were going to aim for the stage and smush into Dancy, toward the center of the stage, as soon as Adam came out. I don't blame them for trying..it sometimes works out. They were a few rows in front of PattiHum and JustKaren and had a straight shot for the stage. They didn't have the VIP1 tics. Before Adam came out I leaned forward and whispered to Dancy to dart quickly to standing at the stage and spread out. lol. She did and I darted as well....pulling needacoke behind me. It worked and spreadout Dancy shrank back to normal size and luckily we were able to stand there with elbows on that Ryman hardwood thruout the whole show. I was standing a little to the left of seat 13, but was able to stay there and out of the arbitrary aisle. The other fans tried standing to my left, but security told them to sit back in their seats....then one kept going back and forth next to me during the show. ETA: Ooops I see I should go back to yesterday's thread, but just wanted to reply to coo.coo.ca.choo ADAM: Hope by now you are feeling a little better and wish you full health by Thursday! We Love You!

What a great spot right at the stage!
