It seems ironic that some Adam fans wildly applaud Adam's speech on embracing diversity and coming together over our love of music. At the same time, they get bent out of shape about him uttering a word that is commonly used within his culture but considered offensive by some others. They get offended by a snarky, brief extemporaneous comment about republicans. Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy? As much as we say we adore Adam and think he is perfect, I think we sometimes hold him up to standards far greater than those we expect from friends, co-workers and family members. Far greater than those we live ourselves. A few fans take a step further and actually lecture him or chastise him for making choices THEY think are unwise, unethical, or unattractive. If someone they KNEW did the same to them, they would be outraged at the hubris. just sayin' You can't please everybody! Anyhow, I don't think anyone can be "perfect" so Adam (IMO) is "almost perfect."

I hold Adam in exaulted status . . . he is actually a god to me. A god of music, of diversity, of beauty, of wit, of class, of fashion . . . Doesn't mean he isn't human, though. I'm not his mama and I'm not his judge or jury. I don't presume to be his, or anyone else's. So he can say what he means to say - or not - and it won't phase me one bit. Out of the spotlight, he is still just another person; like my children, or my next-door neighbor, or the casual acquaintance in the line at the bank, voicing how they feel, in the jargon that's familiar to them, in the situation, in the moment. I've been here, following Adam, far too long to think that 'cunt' will sway me one way or the other. Only a few years ago, hearing 'fuck' made me catch my breath. Now, it's one of my favorite words. I function in a cut-throat professional world that takes no prisoners - male or female. If I found myself offended by the jargon used so frequently today, I'd have a hard time taking care of the tasks that need attention. I live through actions, not words. Oh, how I would love to be in that corner with Adam. BTW - I'm hoping we're adding 'vapid' to the vocabulary list of Adam words.

I have to ask this....with the travel advisory about travel in Europe and the discovery of other possible ISIS targets in Europe, is there a possibility of cancellation of any Adam solo or QAL shows? One CNN report mentioned caution of theater and outdoor events. Adam and his management will take the utmost care but this is just an uncertain time. This is an uncertain time..I would imagine both Adam solo and Queen will make decisions depending on the state of events as they continue to unfold. Let's just hope no cancellations are necessary for any touring artists. The world needs music right now. Dancing. Laughter. Joy. The magic of community.

Will probably get stoned but I like it better than WTTS. The first time I read this I genuinely wondered why you would want to get stoned if you like CGH better than WTTS. Then I read it again #yesimfromamsterdam #apparentlyitshows I love both songs, differently. This is an amazing week!! Two (TWO) singles with Adam, such an awesome surprise!!! ![http://s5.favim.com/orig/53/art-blue-weed-Favim.com-499659.jpg](http://s5.favim.com/orig/53/art-blue-weed-Favim.com-499659.jpg) nic42...that was hilarious!

Yeah - but he's "perfectly Adam Lambert" and that sure suits me! ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/adamthumbsup.gif) ...

If someone they KNEW did the same to them, they would be outraged at the hubris. just sayin' I try my best not to judge Adam. Why? Because I have seen enough of his actions to know that he has amazing character. There's that saying "Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking". I remember when I found out years later that he visited a young, dying girl in a hospital, I believe it was while he was on the Idol tour. She has since passed away. I remember reading on some blog (not mainstream news site) that he donated $7-8K to Amnesty International. These are things he did really early in his career that were not publicized. One of the first things he bought was a house for his mother, not for himself. He gave his friends and family jobs. He took Alison under his wing and if I recall correctly, he offered her a place to stay. He started getting involved with charities really early in his career when he was not making millions as he is now. And to this day, look how much he donates his time and money for charities. Sometimes it's just the little things. I remember stalking him outside my local radio station as I didn't have tickets. He said "Wait here and let me see if I can get you in". He couldn't but I thought to myself, who would do that? And we all know that he is constantly pimping other artists without expecting and rarely getting anything in return. So if he says an unacceptable word, or wears fur, puts his foot in his mouth occasionally, I don't really care because I think he's a better human being than most of the people I know.
