Where are you sitting / standing ? Row 104. Going with total of 6 people. You? Well he did qualify it with "snarkily" republicans. I would bet that by this he means the ones who want to take away or prevent civil rights from the LGBT community. It is not ALL republicans, certainly not those in Adam's fan base, but does seem to be the ones in political control.

You can't please everybody! Anyhow, I don't think anyone can be "perfect" so Adam (IMO) is "almost perfect." Yeah - but he's "perfectly Adam Lambert" and that sure suits me! ... I like that -- very good way to think!

It seems ironic that some Adam fans wildly applaud Adam's speech on embracing diversity and coming together over our love of music. At the same time, they get bent out of shape about him uttering a word that is commonly used within his culture but considered offensive by some others. They get offended by a snarky, brief extemporaneous comment about republicans. Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy? As much as we say we adore Adam and think he is perfect, I think we sometimes hold him up to standards far greater than those we expect from friends, co-workers and family members. Far greater than those we live ourselves. A few fans take a step further and actually lecture him or chastise him for making choices THEY think are unwise, unethical, or unattractive. If someone they KNEW did the same to them, they would be outraged at the hubris. just sayin' I think the TISI lyrics ring true to him and he partly means it to some fans "You say you want the truth, but you can't take it So I give you lies" and "You wanna hear my voice, my mind, my demons, But not too much, Or you'll give up". I'm sure he can, at times, be snarky, un pc, and just flat out wrong. (not insinuating he's wrong to use any particular word in association w/any particular person...just speaking generally) Gasp! What?! Yep. He's human. Still love him.

If someone they KNEW did the same to them, they would be outraged at the hubris. just sayin' I try my best not to judge Adam. Why? Because I have seen enough of his actions to know that he has amazing character. There's that saying "Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking". I remember when I found out years later that he visited a young, dying girl in a hospital, I believe it was while he was on the Idol tour. She has since passed away. I remember reading on some blog (not mainstream news site) that he donated $7-8K to Amnesty International. These are things he did really early in his career that were not publicized. One of the first things he bought was a house for his mother, not for himself. He gave his friends and family jobs. He took Alison under his wing and if I recall correctly, he offered her a place to stay. He started getting involved with charities really early in his career when he was not making millions as he is now. And to this day, look how much he donates his time and money for charities. Sometimes it's just the little things. I remember stalking him outside my local radio station as I didn't have tickets. He said "Wait here and let me see if I can get you in". He couldn't but I thought to myself, who would do that? And we all know that he is constantly pimping other artists without expecting and rarely getting anything in return. So if he says an unacceptable word, or wears fur, puts his foot in his mouth occasionally, I don't really care because I think he's a better human being than most of the people I know.
