Yeah, Pharaoh will get to snuggle in bed, most likely. I have two rescue dogs and one re-homed cat. The last acquired dog was turned into a high kill shelter in West Virginia, and was rescued by an organization in New Jersey which tries to find homes. I'm not sure what "field dog" is supposed to mean on the paper trail from the kill shelter, but that little doggie knew what a bed was. He was also a runner. About a month after we got him, he got out the door and went running down the hill, two streets down. It took a lot to find him and get him back home. Maybe why he ended up in a shelter if his owners couldn't find him. We have no idea what mix of breeds he is. Did the DNA test and came up with Jack Russell Terrier and Parsons Terrier and Catahoula Louisiana Dog. The shelter added possible mixes of Corgi and Dachshund. I homed pedigree Cardigan Welsh Corgis for a friend-breeder-AKC judge and I don't see any Corgi in this dog, other than people tend to think it's a good guess.

SO just saw the Freddie movie bit on ET. Rami Malek is it? Is slated to play Freddie. Good choice he does have similarities. He's great in Mr Robot. Just wonderign though, he said he well be singing in the film. How good of vocalist is this guy? Maybe he needs Adam to come along and give him some tips haha. I do Hope Adam is involved in the film. Would love Adam to play maybe one of his lovers. Sounds a bit tongue in cheek but who knows www.etonline.com/movies/207396_exclusive_rami_malek_reveals_he_will_sing_as_freddie_mercury_queen_biopic_bohemian_rhapsody/After winning an Emmy for playing a laconic cyber security hacker on Mr. Robot, Rami Malek now has the challenge of portraying the flashy frontman for Queen, the late Freddie Mercury. Malek dished to ET about how deep he's diving into the role. "I will sing a little bit," Malek told ET's Kevin Frazier at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. "Why not?" While Malek might not share Mercury's legendary four-octave range, his Mr. Robot co-star, Christian Slater, assured us that Malek will do more than hold his own. "We share dressing rooms, and I put a cup up and I hear him singing in there," Slater explained. "It's going to blow everybody away." This won't be the first time Malek sings on camera. The 35-year-old actor once belted out "Put on a Happy Face" on the canceled Fox sitcom, The War at Home. youtu.be/HegamhLQxRk?t=1125

Hm, so anybody wanna make a bet on whether Pharaoh gets to sleep on the bed? Yeah, me neither lol. Before we got Jack, we had said no dog on the bed....ever. After Jack, he slept cuddled up to hubby every night (I'm too restless for that). Now that Jack is almost 10, he prefers to sleep in his doggie nest because it's getting more difficult to jump up on the bed and hubby actually pouted the first time the dog chose to sleep in his own bed. I think you are right -- at least for some of the time. It is clear that Pharoah is the real owner in this relationship

His tattoo is so appropriate here! ("Music soothes the savage beast"!)

Yes, that "Hi" in the first snap from walking the dog got me too...Adam sounds sooo excited, like a little child from the heart. I ADORE that about people, when they can keep up these raw pure emotions, that excitment in adulthood.
I only got to know two dogs on a day to day basis and both had bladder-control issues...maybe that's why I had a krass picture of what it means to have a dog and having to let it out and all...but good to hear/read that it doesn't always have to be that intense...
right now I think the puppy has got Adam on the palm of it's hands...aaah paws...so I think the dog can sleep whereever it wants at the moment^^

They make doggie stairs just for that purpose. J/S. 8-)

I'm only whispering this to you, you don't have to tell your husband. lol Bed, Bath and Beyond sells doggie pet steps. I own 2 of them. One is at the foot of the bed, and 1 is in front of the sofa. I have a rescue dog also. Poor thing was beaten. His nose has a scar. Really sad shape when we got him. We have him 8 years. We think he might be 9 or 10. No one knew for sure his proper age. The first time I took him outside on the deck, I started to sweep it with a broom. The dog freaked the hell out. We assume that he was beaten with a broom. We no longer had him around when anything needed to be swept. Totally high anxiety for him. We have no problem with him in bed. He is like a little heater and he sleeps angelically. But he is getting older too and he does have issues from the severe beatings. The steps help him out so much. Without them, he just can't navigate the bed anymore or the sofa. I like that the steps gives him his dignity and he just climbs them like a pro. He also came with a weird name. There was no way we would call him that. So we started the new name straight away when we picked him up. He adjusted in a flash. It was like the other name never existed. He is a sweetheart of a dog. We have given him a wonderful life, as he has given to us in return. He has maintained his 20lb perfect weight. He was skeletal, and just generally a dog that looked like he wouldn't make it. It is rewarding everyday to see that sweet and happy face. He knows he is loved. He is all black, so we do him up in reds. Red collars, red leashes, red sweaters, red coat, red water and eating bowls. We also keep a very large crate in the living room corner for him, filled with a sheepskin floor and a red doggie bed. He likes to be in his dog cave sometimes at night too. The door to it is always open. He is never locked in there. It is just the cutest thing to me to see Adam interact with Pharaoh. I find myself legit smiling when I watch the vid of him walking Pharaoh and saying "Pharaoh, hey, hey...HI" Melts my heart. And don't even get me started on Adam petting his head and ears. If you watch it a few times in a row, I swear you can feel your blood pressure stabilizing. lol I'm looking forward to so many pics of Pharaoh. I think that Adam won't be able to help himself. lol

I thought I was kidding when I said, "My little rescue has me fully trained now." I have a lot of dogs and none quite like my little rescued guy.
