Hmm. Having connection problems. And for the past couple of daysATOP keeps logging me out. Anyhow, I suspect the timing of the Twitter party has more to do with the QAL tickets going on general sale tomorrow than anything else. Though I hope Adam proves me wrong and makes an exciting announcement! Nah! Twitter parties are for BIG fans! We don't need to have promo for QAL. Yep. ITA. Anyone waiting with baited breath for his Twitter party tomorrow, likely already has their tickets.

If anyone is still looking for a way to get pre-sale tickets, I just got 4 really good seats for San Jose using the LiveNation Mobile App. No code required ... it looked like you can try several pre-sales at once with the app, although we just tried the LiveNation Mobile one. I think Live Nation added more tickets since this morning, or even early afternoon. I went back in and looked and there were more closer to the floor at the Omaha concert, but none as good as the ones I got!! But, there were definitely more than earlier. Glad you got some good seats!! Enjoy!!

Anyone besides me think this twitter party is so he can announce something to the fans? 9 a.m. for Adam? Ummmm, not normal at all! Yep.. that tweet makes me go.. "hhhmmmm ?! .. is something going on?" Especially he's not on the airport waiting for his flight or in a tour bus couldn't sleep. He announced it over 24 hours prior. Something is coming

So he's doing the QAL promo by himself.

Somehow I missed this particular question and response, although I did see some of the other questions. Previously I must have read a summary, not the whole interview. Posting in case some others also missed it. What was the biggest challenge you faced?
When I auditioned for Idol, I was in a really good place with who and what I was. I had no shame. After Idol, there were moments where I felt ashamed of my identity because I was made to feel that way, indirectly—by the industry I was in, by being a public figure, by being judged by pockets of people that I never would have encountered before. I was running around with artists and weird kids and then all of a sudden, Susie Homemaker is weighing in on what I’m wearing or who I’m kissing. Therefore, the recording industry and radio are going, “Maybe that’s not mainstream. We’re not going to make any money on this because of Susie Homemaker." That became such a mindfuck to me that I definitely had a moment here or there where I was like, “Should I even be doing this? Am I happy? Am I enjoying this? Is it worth it?” I would keep circling back to when I was onstage in front of an audience going, “This is what I’m supposed to be doing.” It was a lot I had to fight against.
From time.com/4657465/adam-lambert-interview/peace&love This is entirely new to me - thanks so much for posting. Adam's honesty is quite revealing and eye opening and it grabs me by the heart, even though I have had a decent idea of Adam's struggles and frustrations in a rather heteronormative pop market. Now I remember him saying, around FYE album release time, that he had been going through a musical identity crisis when working on the album, and I understand more clearly now why that was the case. I still can't get over the fact that "Fever" was never considered a single because of the pronoun - that song is still one of my all time favorites along with "Shady". The fact that the stars aligned and that Brian and Roger found Adam is such a fortunate thing. A "gift from god" indeed, not only for Brian and Roger but for Adam as well. He is pretty free to celebrate the many sides of his artistry (and himself), and I hope that his success and acceptance as the front man for this legendary band will increasingly transfer into his solo career.

From time.com/4657465/adam-lambert-interview/peace&love LOL Sometimes the name Susan/Suzie/Sue can be a burden....Lazy Susan; Runaround Sue; Susie Homemaker; Suzie Q; "boy named Sue" .... the list is endless... I hate that ANYONE would make Adam feel ashamed of himself for being who he is. Regarding the sexual identity issue, in my life experience , more of the ugliest hate and bigotry I've heard, has come from men, mostly those who identify as heterosexual. I wish Adam had not used a feminine name as an example, even though the contempt and ignorance has, obviously, come from both genders. My name isn't Sue, but I felt myself reacting uncomfortably when I read this statement. Never could understand why anyone would judge a person for WHO he is, rather than for WHAT he says or does. I feel sad knowing that Adam had to go through this as he began his public life following AI. I don't think he ever stated his experience and feelings so bluntly before---but then again, he didn't really HAVE to. Those of us who have followed him from the very beginning, could see the pain and discomfort in his eyes and on his face-in every interview that probed into his sexual identity... How could it not affect him????
