Talk about an "after the party" face. Still manages to take my breath away.

It's interesting that The Voice has never produced a big star. The celebrity judges have always been the focus, even more so than on Idol, IMO. Viewers love to watch and they love to vote. But they often totally forget about the contestants the moment the season finale is over. It's happened on Idol, too, especially in its final years. The key is to have more than just a voice. Good voices are a dime and dozen. You have to have some other quality. Personality, pathos, SOMETHING. Adam has that extra "something" that has kept his AI fans loyal to him long after his season ended. He has the perfect meld of qualities, both as a singer and as a celebrity: humor, poise, confidence, personality, intelligence, edginess. Feel bad for Alisan. I do like her just fine. But as I said before, although she has a lovely voice and is attractive, I just don't see her as all that distinctive. I wonder how long The Voice will last. Interest is waning for singing shows. Still have mixed feelings about the return of AI other than it's possible benefit to Adam.
