Thanks for the clarification Happy. Actually, nica575, I live on Salt Spring Island which is a half hour ferry ride from Sidney, and another half hour to Happy, and my DD, and another hour more or less to Fiercelier. We are all in the same general area but they are all on the 'big island' while I am on a smaller island not far off the east coast of Vancouver Island. There are a lot of birds of prey out here....I have almost hit a bald eagle a couple of times here on the island as they swoop across the road. The road from Tswassen [the main ferry terminal for Vancouver] has eagles and other predator falcons on almost every telephone pole leading to the ferry. I just came back from a Raging Granny event [yes, I am one of those ] and the granny at whose home we meet has a permanent large standing telescope set to watch the Bald Eagle family across a small stretch of water...you would have a very difficult time finding them without help but this allows them to watch the eaglets feeding, etc....quite interesting... Are you kidding me, jeeezus it's beautiful. Yes....I am pretty lucky to have found my home here....it is very beautiful and quaint. That green treed and park area right on the water [lower left-ish in the pic] is home to a very popular and well regarded art and farmer's market that draws crowds of tourists every Saturday. I have to force myself to be patient with the influx of people as they wander carelessly about the streets oblivious to the locals trying to live their 'real' lives, lol. There are very few boats there in the pic..that whole bay is full of sailing boats of various sizes, and a few live-aboards

Oh what a wonderful day ---recap after recap! With each concert experience being so unique the read is like watching each new set of videos--- animaldoc--can hardly believe your great luck and what a special experience to be hugged and given "considered thoughtful time" by Dr. May. I got a little mist in my eyes when you were describing the reactions and feelings of your group.
mszue --The theme of friends/family having a grand time on your QAL adventure was a treat to read about. One of the things that continues to bring me to read on Adamtopia is the fact that I have met a few Atopers------hopefully more in the future ----but enough that I feel a "connected-ness" to meeting here each day to share feelings and thoughts. Being able to put faces to names makes things so much more personal. I enjoyed our casual summer lunch last year when you holidayed in my fair city...formerly your city! And the cup issue ---well laugh of the day for me!
bamafan - to quote you ----Those few seconds were the highlight of the nite to me Considering you are not taking your money to the grave with you considring the number of concerts you attend...the thrill like the touch of the hand , the eye lock, the pause and his personal chat with fierclier et al... , well how exciting to get a memory like this to set this concert apart from others. glitterma - OMGosh all the ups and downs girl, in your story telling...great fun read! Super glad you had those seats. From your recap we must have been in fairly similar positions near the thrust/fret. I took particular note of your observations of Brian/Adam. "I did notice that Brian very rarely makes full eye contact where Adam does a lot." Funny enough, I too commented on that exact observation in my recap. Similar minds, thinking alike!!! Their eye contact with the audience hit us the same way!!!! Adam looks at individuals and scans...Brian scans. When you get a glance your way...eyes locking for split second ...it reaffirms the overall sense of their engagement styles on stage. (Obviously based on animaldoc's experience and many youtubes in many situations, Brian is very engaging when out of performance mode and chatting with a group.)
Thanks everyone...made my Atop time a joy today!

Are you kidding me, jeeezus it's beautiful. it's really real!! Saltspring is one of the Gulf Islands, and it's paradise. Actually, most of the Gulf Islands look like paradise! I used to spend a lot of time on Saltspring visiting our American draft-dodger friends back in the 1970s!

Don't want to brag or anything but the urban park that is just blocks from my place has a Barred Owl family, a Bald Eagle nest with one eaglet that has just fledged, and a Great Blue Heron colony. lol Those herons swoop in and sound like pterodactyls! I get to see all this as I walk downtown! Lucky!

Where ya thinking? Looks like Rob Sinclair went to New York. That would be my guess. http://instagr.am/p/BWYk6_ihLXQ He followed, a was return followed, a New York based photographer, Ryan Pfluger, earlier today who also follows and is friends with Joey and Max. Billboard followed as well. odd little tour gap, either someone had something major to do or a venue fell through. I did a bit of digging. The "odd" gap intrigued me. All I can find out is the dates were blocked by the artists. It could be that Brian and Roger wanted a longer break here and there. It could be that Adam was not available. I am sure it was not because Spike, Neil or Tyler was not available. My guess is Brian and Roger requested it to make sure they had a break and that Adam filled the gap with something. I could be completely wrong. There is also an odd gap in the European Tour schedule still. After November 13 Ziggo Dome they have a few days off as well. Still waiting for a 2nd Ziggo Dome on the 15th, but unlikely for that to happen so late after the others were announced.

Don't think this one was posted yet. Get some fans ready to cool down: Gelly @14gelly Awesome GDML from Kansas with the wails before IWIA. He's sliding his body on the micstand www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDsZbDbNX1sya...I need an Adam centric recording of this one...the sooner the better... Really enjoyed Roger's performance. And Adam is smoldering. Can't think of a better frontman for Queen. They are on fire.
